First Aid Course - HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (Incl CPR) - $70 (Was $140) @ CPR First Aid

I completed my First Aid course with First Aid Pro Thursday. I've done mine several times and found the instructor to be very knowledgeable.
It required 4 hours of practical plus around 4 to 8 hours of online theory beforehand depending how quick you can get through it.
I paid only $70 for the Education and Care course anywhere else was well over $130. This course is suitable for teachers and child care workers.

If you need to renew yours I'd definitely recommend. They have courses available all over Australia and they run 7 days a week.

Deal expires 31st of December but you can book a course anytime up until the middle of next year.

Enjoy.
Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!
Just signed up for the Education and Care First Aid Course next year to renew my First Aid! Saved me well over $50 and I'll claim on tax too.

  • These are express trainings consisting of only one hour and online materials. A complete first aid training is around five to six hours

    • Yes there is a 1 hour course available for those thats have done it before.

But there is also a 4 hour one with online preparation and a 6 hour one.

      It still includes everything.

      They are still accredited.

Don’t think people want an infection with Omicron too. Shocked to see an organisation that supposedly focuses on saving lives, doing the very thing (an indoor gathering) that increases the chances of taking away lives (via a covid infection) especially at a time when Omicron is running out-of-control in communities, spreading at unprecedented rates.

It’s about time that businesses did their part to keep society safe, instead of relying on politicians to force their hand.

And no, standard surgical masks don’t prevent something this infectious from spreading. I know, because many people with Delta have been infected whilst wearing masks. And Omicron is 70x more infectious than Delta.

Evidence is also mounting via studies in the UK, that contrary to earlier reports in South Africa, Omicron is no less mild than Delta.

So my question to you: how big is the room your CPR training is held in, and how many participants in the one class? More relevantly, are you mandating P2 masks for all present? And how would you ensure those P2 masks were fitted correctly to the faces of all?

        • This is true but if you need to do your first aid for work what more can you do?

It's compulsory for me and it was due for renewal.
As it would be for a lot of people.
This organisation takes as many precautions as possible and cuts down the time with a lot of online training.

@treeman: I’d like to hear from the organisation first. In the mean time, I’ll play it safe and assume their “precautions” are potentially useless against something as infectious as Omicron.

Also your comment appears to support this company’s safety practices against Omicron, yet you provide no evidence for it.

Okay can assume you’re affiliated with them.

            • @JeBs: I'd tend to agree with the Omicron variant they would be useless but if you need your first aid course what are you meant to do?

Either way people in Perth are fine. No issues over there.

@treeman: LOL. Omicron has probably already arrived there and spreading fast undetected. In NSW, I’ve read that authorities are no longer testing for Omicron and unless it’s a danger to ones health. It’s the most illogical thing I’ve ever heard, but a great way to coverup the extent of infections. If other states adopt a similar standpoint, the entire nation is screwed.

@JeBs: Of course it's arrived, I'm not quite sure why you're laughing at me?

I've since included tinfoil hats into my first aid kit.
You just never know when one of these could actually be more effective than proper training! ;)
