I got this one from the last month deal. I pretty happy with this one

    • +3

I still have problem sometime won't connect after away for a few mins, have to power it off and on or use bluetooth.

Already tried USB2 port, still happened.

      • +1

use to happen to me a lot more but I haven't seen this problem for a few weeks now.

        • Very random for me, sometime happened just away for a few mins, sometime OK.

          • @superforever: Same issue here, often pull the battery as even switching to BT and back doesn't help sometimes. =\ Very frustrating.

      • Same issue - I think Razer’s windows drivers are to blame.

Amazon realised they can make more money off people =P

  • +1

I wish this deal is for the logitech MX3, missed it from the last deal. 😫

  • +2

Bought one at around $60, super happy with it.
Incase you don't know it's a hybrid 2.4ghz wireless and Bluetooth, so you can toggle between dongle or Bluetooth mode underneath.

As someone with large hands and coming from a Logitech G502, I've quickly come to love this mouse and am selling the multiple 502s I have.

  • +1

I have a hand that's on the smaller side and I went through a dozen gaming mice in the past 16 months

    when I don't need a ton of buttons, I grab G304

when I do need a fukton of buttons I grab a wired Naga X

this one I found to be too big but obviously YMMV

it is a very good quality mouse though, so of you have bigger hands or like huge buttons, go for it, fantastic deal

    • Should I get this or the Deathadder V2 Pro ?

      • +1

Depends on your budget but Basilisk have the better value at this price.
        Main differences differences
Basilisk uses AA batteries, shape is generally safer for all grips and hand sizes and it uses mechanical switches (good for FPS, tiring for moba/spam clicking).
DA uses rechargable lithium ion, better shape for larger hands and optical switches (good with FPS and moba).

      • this is fantastic bang for the buck

G304 can be had for $40 from gearbite deals but postage isn't instant like with Amazon

opinion on DA is same as above comment

never ever had any dropout issues with g304 (same model as g305)

    • My wife uses one of these, because she grips the mouse with her palm.

I used to enjoy this and then I started using G305 (long story short, I had one, it broke and the shop refunded me. I got G305 with that because it was on sale).
Now it feels very big and heavy. It is still a nice mouse though, hence why I bought one when my wife wanted a new mouse.

  • +3

I seem to be getting a surprising number of drop outs. Like the cursor just disappears from the screen and I can't seem to wake up the mouse from sleep mode without turning it off and on again. I was wondering if there's interference if you're using a few 2.4hz devices in close proximity?

    • I have same issue and I have to switch between the 2.4hz and Bluetooth to continue using it. However, the mouse still feels comfortable to use and this is a good price.

    • I've noticed the same thing. Some forums suggest firmware updates fix this, but I haven't noticed any improvement on the lastest version. Bit of a bummer, the mouse is super comfy and light.

    • which USB port are you using for the 2.4hz? i switched USB3.0 to USB 2.0 and no drop outs.

      • Still happened to me sometime with USB2.0

  • +1

I've had this for about 1 year and its starting to fail, clicks don't completely register when click and dragging (they drop off).

    • Has 2yr warranty

    • I have the same issue. The old trick of blowing into the mouse works for me most of the time. Either something stucks or static build-up makes the mouse not register dragging or double-clicking.

      • its actually the switch thats failing and registering double clicks. well known issue. thats why razer came out with the optical switches in their higher range mice to alleviate this issue.

  • Prettty solid mouse, only very occasionally dropped connection but can't complain at this price.

  • Ordered. Hopefully better than my steelseries 650

  • how is this for FPS gaming? BF, COD or anything like that?

    • I've been using it the last few days for BF2042.. and I'm finding it better than my Logitech G502..

      For $49 it's a no brainer.. I'm considering a 2nd one

      • great, i can dump my really old blackadder now haha

  • Going to take the plunge on this one. My Mamba TE just died so I'll give this one a crack.

  • How would this compare to the MX Master for general/casual gaming? I know they're both aimed at different markets but trying to decide whether to give this a crack or stick with the MX Master.

  • Awesome mouse and for that price is a steal.

  • Using it right now as a work mouse. Definitely better than what i was using. Unfortunately cant install the software on a work computer to change the DPI as I'm sort of stuck in the middle between two presets with my preferred speed. Ones a little too slow but the next one up is a bit fast. Probably just a matter of getting used to it.

    • +4

Could you set up your config on your home PC, then transfer the settings to on board storage? It's something I can do with Logitech mice

      • Well this is a genius idea, I will give it a go and see if it works. Thanks for the advice!

        • +3

the speed setting stores on the mouse not machine. once you set it up you can use is anywhere

  • Have been using this at home for several months.
Just one issue that I found with it: sometimes it stops responding, and you have to take out the battery and put it back in, and it works again.
Good thing that it does not do that abruptly (when you're in the middle of game, for example), it only does it after it stays idle for a bit.
But for 50 dollars it's an awesome mouse, ordered another one to have a spare.

    • Already on the latest firmware still the same sometime.

      • I had this mouse briefly (returned as it was ergonomically worse than G304 I was thinking it could replace), and I haven't experienced the dropping out

in the end I decided to keep G304 instead. solid connection, never had an issue. FWIW

forgot to mention I had G604 as well as "fukton of buttons" option, but the layout was confusing, and it was too damn heavy so I got Naga X (wired) to replace it.

so I have G304 for FPS and Naga X for all situations when I need lots of buttons. it's got such a fantastic cable that never gets in the way, and feels like wireless pretty much. and was $40 on a recent deal. and has RGB so.. XD

  • hows the battery on this?

    • +1

Keep eneloops handy, you'll be going through a dozen a year on the 2.4hz dongle mode.

While it never disconnects when in use, it can fail to reconnect sometimes when its turned off (not often, but when it happens you'll be annoyed asf)

      • +1

        Keep eneloops

The mouse never said it is 100% with eneloops,

  • Thanks - been keeping an eye out for a decent priced wireless gaming mouse for a while now. This will replace my few year old Logitech G Pro gaming mouse which is worn out and buttons now click too easily.

Keen to see how this measures up against my MX Master mouse I use for work mainly.

    • The battery would last longer if you reduce the polling rate to 125hz (which is what MX Master is on if I am remembering things right).

  • +1

    It's showing $71 for me

  • Hmm bugger, showing as $71.48 for me :(

    • Back to $50

    • Yes, was just good timing that the link switched to another seller for $39.45 and I managed to nab one. Delivery tomorrow too rather than Monday 20th for the Amazon AU listing.

      • to another seller for $39.45 a

        Seller name?

  • I'm planning to pair this with some LADDA batteries from IKEA and a battery charger.
Looks like LanPlus are really cheap RRP (less than Amazon on sale) with free shipping:

    Nitecore D4 $41.50 | ebay store
LiitoKala Lii-500 $42 but you can get these $20-30 from AliExpress if you don't mind long wait

purchased. I got sick of waiting for a G502 lightspeed to come up at a decent price. Hopefully its more than good enough for me to ignore the need for one!

  • It's $45 again now

  • My CR cashback was declined for this purchase - any idea why?
