210

Hey OzBargain

A lot of you guys requested we do an RTX 3070 deal last time we posted our 3060 deal.

This is by no means a deal for people who want the cheapest combination of parts to save every penny, but its a good combination of parts we believe to be well balanced and not cause any issues down the track.

Base Model Specs
CPU: Intel i5 11500
Motherboard: MSI Mortar B560M
Memory (RAM): Team 16GB 3200mhz (2x8GB) RAM Kit
Storage: 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD
GPU: Gigabyte / Colorful Nvidia GeForce RTX3070 8GB
Case: MSI Vampiric 100R Full ATX
Power Supply: Silver Stone 750w Gold Rated

The Intel 11400 performance is very similar (Slightly slower) in most games as the 5600X, besides PUBG. Benchmark video below, so we can assume the 11500 is more or less equal performance in most games.

We have chosen the MSI Mortar motherboard to go with the case, a 1TB NVMe SSD so you have enough space for more than just 1x call of duty game and a gold-rated 750w PSU which is more than enough for an RTX3070 + CPU, etc.

Please be aware that there is a massive demand for these systems and lots of delays with most couriers so they will likely take 2-3+ weeks to arrive. However in an ideal world with no courier delays, they may arrive within 5-7 business days after ordering!

We only have 20 in stock to reduce delays.

If you need help with selecting parts or any other general inquiries please message our Facebook page (linked below), Email me at [email protected]

The CPU should be 12500 at least in current stage to match the price

    • +4

Unless they can time travel, they're going to have trouble getting their hands on a 12500…

    • +15

While I definitely agree that a better CPU won't hurt, that means a Z690 motherboard and a more expensive CPU, We don't notice any major FPS gains with an upgraded CPU paired with a 3070 so to keep prices affordable for everyone we went with the 11500.

    • CPU is so overhyped, if you're gaming or just general purpose use, pretty much any cpu would work

      • Depends on the resolution. On higher resolutions it won't matter but lower (1080p) it can be a bottleneck in certain games for those high frame rates.

      • Rust uses cpu :)

PCPP Price showing cheaper then advertised price

    • +1

PCPP price excludes shipping and the cost to build the PC.

    • +7

We added 70$ to account for the shipping from 4-5 retailers. You're paying $70 extra to have our technicians build, test and pack the PC, and have it sent to your door ready to plug and play!

      • -1

Can we do self pickup from your shop to save the $70 delivery?

        • +1

I'd doubt it: that number isn't just shipping, it's labour, and I think that $70 for a PC of this price range is a fair enough price to pay for it. If you want to save that $70, you should just build it yourself using the pcpartpicker list they provided (maybe with some changes as I think the case is subpar and the ram is kinda bad).

    • Well no shit Sherlock. They are building it for you

Would this be an LHR card? All you haters downvote.

    • No these cards are all LHR I'm afraid.

well balanced and not cause any issues down the track.

So Team ram, a no name nvm drive and colourful 3070 is a good mix ?

    • +5

Colorful is one of the largest GPU sellers in the world. We have sold 100s of cards and had only one return! Although 90% of the cards used are Gigabyte Gaming OC 3070s for this build :) The SSDs used are usually Crucial or Kingston however we didn't include the brand as it depends on what stock is on hand at the time. As for the ram, Team is a great brand we have been using since we opened in 2019. I can think of 3 cases where we had to warranty team products out of a few hundred.

While we do strongly believe in the brands we are using, what we meant by well balanced was performance-wise.

    • +1

Team and Colorful both make excellent products.

    • New to pc gaming I see

    • iGame which you might herad of is one of the product line from colorful.

  • Nice match, good price. Will be ready in the new year for a pc purchase and will keep you guys on the list, nicely done.

So an order is unfulfilled and cancelling you charge a 10% fee? Hows that legal even if its in T&C?

Unresponsive on website, so I'll ask here.

    Can anyone chime in?

    • +2

So it ISNT in the Terms and Condition, at this point he's making it up on the spot wtf.

    • +7

Like almost every PC retailer in Australia, canceling orders may result in a restocking fee, the restocking fee TnC is to avoid us losing money ordering in stock for PCs, build time, shipping costs, card payment processing fees.

According to your T&C's there should not be a restocking fee in this situation.

      https://titantechit.com/policies/terms-of-service

      7. Cancellation Policy

You must send all cancellation requests to our sales email address or fax them to us. Except for a “special order” or an order manufactured or assembled to your specification, an order may be canceled before it has left our warehouse with no cancellation fee. A "special order" is an order for goods that are not in stock at the time of order and therefore specially ordered by us from a third party to satisfy your order. If the order has left our warehouse, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 30% of the order price and a fee to cover delivery costs.

        Titan Tech. Care to respond?

      • +6

I'm basically SOL then right or I'm going to have to do a charge back.

I hope Ozbargainers remember this because what the hell. How can you change the terms and conditions on the spot?

        • -3

I'll remember to only order things I need and not fawk people around then complain.

          YMMV

          • +2

@pharkurnell: I mean if I knew it wasn't a pre order… I assumed I buy and just get it. I need a PC I bought one but I don't have one. Even the website said I can cancel before it ships out … He hasn't even built it or shipped it out. So I still don't have a PC I paid for?

    • +6

So you are literally breaking your own T&C and making it up on the spot. Either you're going to have to refund me or I'm going to do a chargeback. What the hell dude.

  • +9

    https://titantechit.com/policies/refund-policy

Your refund policy violates ACCC rules.

"Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, all products sold by us are generally only covered by the manufacturer’s warranty that accompanies the products"

This is patently false and misleads the consumer into thinking that they have no recourse except to the manufacturer. In REALITY it is Titan Tech IT who will be liable for repairs or refunds, not the manufacturer. In addition, you are required to repair both major and minor defects in accordance with ACL.

Disgusting business practices. I will be actively telling people to avoid buying from titan tech
