I just received an e-mail advising of two upcoming Bunnings Trade Events, one is a Breakfast to be held at my local Bunnings here in Kingston Tasmania from 7am to 9am 17th December. Check with your own local store in case this is happening at other locations. They are offering a free bacon and egg muffin with a tea, coffee or juice. My husband and I both have PowerPass cards as we have an ABN, (these Bunnings PowerPass cards are great as they allow a 5% discount on most items when making purchases, and you only need to have an ABN to apply for one).

They specify that the breakfast is a "Trade" breakfast, however from past experience when they have had these events, they never ask you to show your PowerPass Card or prove you are a tradie. On numerous times I have come to these with my 12-year-old daughter on the way to dropping her off to school, and they have handed us both the breakfast (and I didn't show or was asked anything).

  The Breakfast is usually an english muffin with egg and bacon and a tea or coffee or juice, sometimes also chocolate.
  The Family Dinner (if going by what they had on previous years) is definitely more than just a sausage. There was actually a variety of foods, like a taco or wrap etc, lollies, cake and sweets, water, juices and also there was a coffee van which provided free coffee (eg cappuccino), tea or hot chocolate. It was actually pretty good!

            There are many reasons people are not taking it. Many took it because they were cohersed forced. This is a big fact. Anyone denies this must be blind as fk.
            Bunnings is a corporation who went ahead with this apartheid. Therefore I am strongly against this division.
