      What's the offer?

      • Ok it was free-ish. The $2 Disney day offer

        • Yeah I got that $2 from Tomra recycling via PayPal so was free for me

    Mr Inbetween

    • -4

Watched the first ep of this show. So boring.

      • +2

That's what I thought about game of thrones, but instead of whinging about it, I watched the rest of the series and enjoyed it.

        • -2

So what's the plot in the first ep?

      • You're entitled to your opinion.

        • -6

Thanks. I'm also entitled to share it.

      • +1

IMO I think is is a little slow but by god does it turn into an amazing show. Once everything is established it does a good job of delving into the characters. Seasons aren't too long at all so give it a good go!

      • +2

        Thanks for the review champ!

    • +5

One of the best aussies shows in a long time

    • +4

      +10 for Mr.Inbetween it's bloody brilliant!

      • +2

I couldn't believe how good it was!

        • +1

One of the only good shows to come out of Australia in about a decade or so, at least.

  • anything good to watch on this

    • +2

      Harry Potter Reunion special

    • Would you say you’re looking for something to… binge?

      • +1

I don't know why but when I read that comment all I could hear was Dr Evils voice :)

    • -1

      real housewives of Melbourne

    • +7

      Succession

      • +2

Succession is great. Has me hooked

    • +7

Barry, What We Do in the Shadows, Fear the Walking Dead, His Dark Materials, etc

      • +3

What we do in the shadows is awesome.

        • +2

I was so skeptical that it would be any good, but the whole cast is great. Matt Berry is such a vampire!

      • +2

        Barry is excellent! Brilliantly dark

      • +1

Y the Last Man was my favourite from Binge

    • +3

      Curb Your Enthusiasm
      Halt and Catch Fire

      • S11 of curb is phenomenal so far

        • +1

I didn’t like the “irasshaimase!” episode
It was pretty cringe at times

          • +1

@ChadHominem: Isn't the point of the show cringe? Or is this ep a bad cringe?

            • +1

@Morien: The latest season they're kind of phoning it in. And the irrasshaimase episode was a bit of a callback to the earlier 'shit bow' episode that was much funnier

            • @Morien: Bad cringe lol
              Forced comedy

          • +1

@ChadHominem: Agreed on 'irasshaimase' for sure, it was a cringe fest, but the KKK episode was fantastic imo

        • +3

You must have missed the other seasons all better than this

      • +2

Halt and Catch Fire is also at SBS On Demand.

      • Cool been waiting to watch for Curb season 10 & 11
Will also get the 30 day trial after the Disney one finishes

    • +4

      Succession no question

    • What we do in the shadows

    • +1

Mr. Inbetween. Stick it out, it gets amazing

    • +1

      The Wire

    • +1

      Silicon Valley

  • +14

Can't believe they still don't have a 4k option (you'd think it'd be the premium).

Edit: also, what is up with all these streaming services (aside from Netflix and Stan) having an awful UI. Is it that hard to add the ability to fast forward without having to go to the fast forward button or to pause a film with one click or put a "play next episode" button without having to fast forward to the end of an episode.

    • We're talking about an organisation that charges for HD (Foxtel).

As soon as my Telstra deal with Binge is up, i'm out.

  • +1

At least the app is finally on OLED TVs

    • +1

Really, I thought it is just for telstra TV, phone or iPad only

      • It was only on certain Samsung TVs and only just recently on LGs and also Kayo

      • Also for Apple TV, Android TV (such as Nvidia Shield) and Google Chromecast.

        Supported devices are listed.

        https://help.binge.com.au/s/article/Supported-Devices-Browse…

Pity that there's no Playstation or Xbox support.

But as for TV it does support Samsung and LG Smart TVs.

        • +1

Thanks, my Apple TV is the second-gen, no wonder it doesn't work, the FireTV 4K doesn't support as well.

          • @wangsk: You can probably side-load the Android app onto a FireTV, as I had to do to install the Amazon Prime Video app on my Vodafone TV.

          • +1

@wangsk: That it still works with anything at all is outright impressive. It would be what, more than 10 years old?

        • +1

Supporting Android TV should also cover Sony, and a bunch more.

  • OzB-ed already?

    Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://www.binge.com.au/?" on this server.

    • Still working for me.

    • +4

I got the same error. I had to disable my VPN before i could access the web site. I suspect that BINGE is blocking known VPN ip addresses.

  • +3

In 1 month you’ll be able to Binge every show worth watching in their collection.

  • Thanks it worked here. I'm off to watch BINGE on my Apple TV 4K.

  • +3

Mr Inbetween and Succession are mighty good.

  • +2

    I'll stick with rarbg

  • +2

Don't forget to set a reminder to create a new account to join for another 30 day trial on 31/12/21

  • +3

    Another streaming service?! FFS.

  • I'd rather pull my pubes out one by one with a pair of tweezers, yoho me hearties.

    • That's nuts

  • Do they have family account so you can share with others?

  • What does everyone do for an sms number if you’ve already had a free trial?

  • -1

    Binge is damn good.

  • New sex and the city?

  • Can you cancel it straight away and still get the month free trial?

    It says
"When you cancel your Binge subscription, you'll still have full access to everything you’ve paid for until the end of your billing period."

I have not paid for the free trial so it could stop instantly - can anyone confirm what happens when cancel?

    • +7

      you still get the service

  • You can get 3 months free if you're a telstra customer through the telstra app.

    • Can you do this first, then add on the telstra offer afterwards for four months free?

  • +1

yeah if I want to watch game of throwns again I will stick with HBO now with a vpn.

  • As an existing user, seems like I can't make a new one without using a different mobile number.

  • No Binge app or ability to stream to my WebOS TV, bit annoying. Otherwise there is more content than expected on here (even Movies) - so it's worth a trial at least.

    • Now they have a WebOS app but I got so stressed when using it and literally wanted to kill myself

  • FYI.
Couldn’t access with my VPN, even when set AU.
For those that need to know this.
    Btw.

  • No option to download for offline viewing.. Booo

    • Yes the app is dreadful, both on Android and Google TV (android tv). Good to test and watch a particular show but can't see myself keeping it.

Ps for some reason was charged $1

  • -1

What so good about Binge vs Prime, NetFlix and Disney+?

    • why not try for free and find out !!!
(but the answer to your question = not much, some diff shows)

  • Thanks much for this offer. Able to sign up for my son so that he can catch up Spiderman Trilogy before watching the No Way Home next week.

  • +1

    Mr Inbetween alright, bit chopper-ish
Larry David is worth it alone

    • Really enjoy Mr inbetween. I guess I'll like Larry David even more. Thanks for the heads up!

  • If I cancel will I still get the 30 days.

    • +1

Yes you will get the 30 days if you cancel. I just did it few days ago~

  • The app is dreadful on Chromecast with Google TV, takes a fair few wrong directional clicks to navigate during playing, shouldn't be that hard.
Reminds me to cancel also, Paramount would probably be better at least do the trial next.

  • doesnt seems to have captain america, avengers etc?

    • I think that's Disney Plus only.
