  • Great, will use this to recharge my ipad with telstra prepaid. Does anyone know if we get the fuel discount if we use wish gift cards?

    • My understanding is that you can use them for payment and it's fine, just like using a credit card. But you can't purchase Wish Gift cards to get this offer.

  • Isn't 20c off after spending $150 the same as 4c off spending $30?

    • Yes.

        • lol wow ease up people. Troll alert!

    • +3

no! when fuel price is 1.50 per lt it comes down to 1.3 per lt
where as 4c then it only come down to 1.46 you cant add it together…

      • Makes sense.

        • +1

you should be able to add them together as 5 x $30 still adds up to $150 customer loyalty

    • +1

no, you can't use 5x 4c at one time, but 20c does the job.

  • +1

you can always buy something really expense and small and then take it back the next day.

    • +2

shall I buy 16 Woolies BBQ Chicken and return it the next day, or 10kg of rump? lol :P

    • Buy two phones >$75. Then, return both at another location (same store) stating that another family member had already bought it! :D

  • +1

Time to get a 50ltr fuel can!

    • +1

Make a new post if you find one for less than about $50 will ya!

  • I love coles vouchers spend $50 got $5 off. It's alot easier.

This 20c, it's just like $8 off while you normally get $2 off for 4c discount.

    • +3

      Poor maths.

  • Just passed two ColesExpree and Caltex, petrol at ColesExpress just jumped 14 cents to 159.9 cents while I spent an hour in the dog park.
Luckily the Caltex @Toowong didn't have enough staff to update the price yet (145.9 cents). Was told they would follow as soon as another staff gets in.
This is the first time in a few years I filled petrol with no voucher. I so want to neg the Coles petrol voucher deal! lol

  • Coles petrol is way overpriced. The 20c a litre would be the equivalent of 4 cents a litre off my normal servo.

good observation based on a woolworths discount…

  • Coles has same promotion as well.http://www.coles.com.au/Stores-Services/Fuel-Offer-Discount.
Offer provides stated cents per litre (cpl) fuel discount receipt for purchases of $50/$100/$150 or more in one transaction between 7am Saturday 31st March 2012 & Sunday 8th April 2012 at Coles (excluding Coles Express), BI-LO and Pick’n Pay stores and coles.com.au.

  • I have seen three caltex stations today and prices where from 154.95 to 159.95 ALL day. Other stations including Coles had it from 133.95 to 137.95 and all of them humped another 20c during the night.

Just total rip off. They give you 20c rebate but hike the price by 20c.

    • So what? You have 28 days to use the voucher. Just wait for a day when the price is low.

  • I'd be wary of buying $150 worth of stuff at full price. They're probably holding back the discounts on a lot of items until after Sunday.
