  I wondered what a $70 "Toolbox Alarm" was. Turns out it's same model of cheap basic motion-sensing alarm that I got as a freebie with my bike - available on Amazon for $20 or AliExpress for $5

    Seems like the Ali Express link is just for the remote, not the alarm as well?

    Are these any good, I'm thinking of one for my motorbike?

      The sensor is super-sensitive and the alarm is relatively loud (even in a busy CBD streetscape). It's better than nothing and probably an effective deterrent for kids who might want to jump on your bike or against someone who might want to move your bike (eg in a crowded motorcycle car park). It they are just zip-tied or double-sided taped into place. Easy to find, remove and silence (with a couple of heavy stomps).
