I dont think I ever got my VIP card, but its fine to just give them your VIP number- thats what I did last time.
Go in and tell them you never received your card and they will just give you one on the spot.
Mum went today and said she got a double bed quilt cover with 60% off for $18 and a single for $10.
Going tonight to try the voucher. Also back of the Get Creative spotlight magazine that VIPs get for free there are 20% off full price item vouchers. Combine the 2 and thats a pretty good saving. Thats the maazine NOT the sale catalogues. The Mags are usually on the counter.
the voucher does say that minimum spend is $10 AFTER discount. So it's nothing like the one before where you get anything free if it's $10 or less.
Although it would be great if someone can verify that they got $10 worth of free stuff using this

Unfortunately, Spotlight has not sent my card. When I gave my VIP number from the email, it was invalid. So they accepted voucher with no membership number - with a supervisor override!!Went in tonight to get some prizes for my sons bday party, picked up 2 cutley pks (plate bowl and spoon) marked down to $5.00ea so with the 50% sale = $2.50 ea and 4 kids bags, were $3.00 but $50% disc = $1.50ea. ALl up $11 so i paid $1.00.
Definately going back tomorrow, and saturday, and sunday… Maybe even twice if i have time!Went in tonight as well !!

As I found out tonight, they accepted voucher without card or valid number.
Last deal, others did not produce or were not asked for card.Bought $10 item so got it free.
Its the total price (after discounts deducted) before you use the voucher that must be at least $10. This is a voucher not a % off discount.
So spent $0. Same as last deal.
I went in today and rang up $9 worth of stuff.. they happily applied it and it worked… except that I realised I was less than $10 so added something to bring it to $11, so $1 spent. It may have been just that those staff members didn't realise it was minimum spend $10 and cleared it anyway.
Don't forget there is also 20% off full price if you have a bag card filled….where can I get the 20% full price ?

Went in this morn, Melrose park were having a carpark sale with all item with orange sticker 50% off, while i was there they had Roller Blind, were $289each, Orange stickered to $100, then they announced 65% off for 15 mins, got 2 for $70, used the $10 disc, $60 total - thats $30each. I LOVE SPOTLIGHT!
Got a new members card when picking up 8 free wine glasses ($10 for 4 pack, then applied 2-4-1 discount for second 4 pack).
So you don't even need a members card.Went in today. They asked for my VIP number to use the voucher. Planned to go two store but now have to wait til tomorrow to use.
Say you lost it & they may issue a new one - I got one on the spot testerday as never received mine; or a supervisor override which means no card is necessary (I had written my VIP membership number on the voucher from Spotlights email - but it was refused by their system. Strange, as it worked in January.).
Didn't realise there is a 10% discount on full priced items with members card (as never received mine). I have only bought sale items with the $10 voucher.
Bought 2 products today for $10.99, waited 5 minutes to be served, only to find my new members card discount brought the price down to $9.89. I was told I could not use the $10 coupon.
What could I buy for 11c? The cheapest item I saw was some fancy paper for $1 which I would probably throw out. But that would mean 5min to get it at the other end of the store, then another 5min wait to be served, and pay 80c.
She finally did not use my card I only got last night - so no discount on the $10.99, paid $1 - and left. Sometimes discounts are such a hassle!

Awesome deal… Bought $144 worth of stuff for $24 using 12 vouchers ($120 off) over 2 days at 2 different stores!!! True Ozbargainer I guess!!! In fact on Sunday, used 3 vouchers at 3 different counters in one visit!!!! Ha ha…
How can you use it more than once each day….
They asked for my VIP card number and out into the system
On the receipt, it said VIP Account:xxxxx which means it already record inside my account for this transaction…..I only purchase $80 worth of stuff for $15…(Koo sheet $49, the rest of them are fiber towel x 4 pack)
What did you buy?You can use more than 1 account (family members & pets) - just an idea.
Pity my local store seem to know me, so just I use my own account.
And the distance between stores in Brissie makes it uneconomic to visit several.
