Bonus free headache when the delivery is extremely delayed lol.

The doctor said, "Joe, the good news is I can cure your headaches. The bad news is that it will require castration. You have a very rare condition, which causes your testicles to press on your spine, and the pressure creates one hell of a headache. The only way to relieve the pressure is to remove the testicles."

Joe was shocked and depressed. He wondered if he had anything to live for. He couldn't concentrate long enough to answer, but decided he had no choice but to go under the knife.

When he left the hospital he was without a headache for the first time in 20 years, but he felt like he was missing an important part of himself. As he walked down the street, he realized that he felt like a different person. He could make a new beginning and live a new life. He saw a men's clothing store & thought, "That's what I need - a new suit."

He entered the shop and told the salesman, "I'd like a new suit." The elderly tailor eyed him briefly and said, "Let's see … size 44 long." Joe laughed, "That's right, how did you know?" "Been in the business 60 years!" Joe tried on the suit. It fit perfectly.

As Joe admired himself in the mirror, the salesman asked, "How about a new shirt?" Joe thought for a moment and then said, "Sure." The salesman eyed Joe and said, "Let's see, 34 sleeve & 16-1/2 neck." Again, Joe was surprised, "That's right, how did you know?" "Been in the business 60 years!"

Joe tried on the shirt, and it fit perfectly. As Joe adjusted the collar in the mirror, the salesman asked, "How about new shoes?" Joe was on a roll and said, "Sure." The salesman eyed Joe's feet and said, "Let's see … 9-1/2 E." Joe was astonished, "That's right, how did you know?" "Been in the business 60 years!"

Joe tried on the shoes and they fit perfectly. Joe walked comfortably around the shop and the salesman asked, "How about some new underwear?" Joe thought for a second and said, "Sure." The salesman stepped back, eyed Joe's waist and said, "Let's see… size 36."

Joe laughed. "Ah ha! I got you! I've worn size 34 since I was 18 years old." The salesman shook his head, "You can't wear a size 34. A size 34 underwear would press your testicles up against the base of your spine and give you one hell of a headache.

Does anyone else find their undies and socks stretch or loose elasticity after a few months usage ? My 5yrs+ undies that I bought from Viet Nam still going good, same with ALDI stuff. But Bonds … meh

    • +3

yes, some times undies went down in pant! and you are like Going commando unwillingly!

    • +3

Yes, I've found the quality within the last 2 or 3 years has gone down considerably. Never pay full price for any Bonds goods.

My last order from bonds took over 2 weeks to arrive, keep that in mind when ordering.

    • 2 weeks was fast, mine was like a month. And a lot of online comments seem to say it takes even longer than that for some.

Is cashback still valid if I pay with gift cards?

    • Cashback is ineligible on purchase or redemption of gift cards.

  • Do Bonds make good socks? I'm after white ankle height that don't smell after wearing them a few days in a row

    • +1

If you can find the Aldi ones they're a good buy for that. I've found the ones with "CoolMax" or other similar fibre configurations in them are excellent at keeping your feet cool and dry. I'd look for any socks with that. Another tip I have is just buy heaps of the same exact sock to make life easier with pairing them. If you have enough of the same socks and a lack of other types (like 1 type for black business socks and 1 other type for ankle socks) you don't even need to pair them because you can easily find 2 the same in the drawer. Throw out the old ones that you only have 1 pair of etc. It's a life changer. No pairing saves a decent chunk of time

      • Yes I've spent too much time thinking about socks lol

      • Thanks for the advice. Yes my plan is to find a good brand/type of sock and buy 12-15 pairs of them to use on daily rotation. I'll also throw out all my other old socks. I've recently done something similar with t-shirts. I bought 20 white t-shirts and wear them every day unless I'm going out and want something more formal. It's really great waking up and having a clean white t-shirt to wear and not have to think about what I'm wearing

  • My order from early September's delayed, lost, reprocessed. Received an email on 11th Nov. That my order is underway. It's now 26th nov. What a mess.

Shopback app says the 20% cashback is back 2pm-6pm today. $25 cap.

  • Due to the temporary suspension of Victorian parcel collections from Australia Post (learn more here) deliveries are currently delayed and wait times to receive orders are longer than usual. Please bear with us - we thank you for your patience.
