Isn't this one of the brands that grossly exaggerate their pressure figures
Yes.
Also, Edisons customer service is absolute horrendous. Just do a search, and check out some of the previous threads here.
Thank mate. Almost bought this one. You save My money 😀🤣

this electric one is $229 with free shipping at the moment seems ok
I believe it is false ad on the psi. Also other cheap brands. Anything over 4000psi would be commercial use and over $2k.
Same as the cheap rechargeable battery with large capacity. Ebay seems not interested in regulating the ads.
I purchased Homelite 173cc petrol pressure washer from Bunnings for around ~$230 in August. Really powerful and starts first pull every time. Unbelievable how they have jacked up the price to $379 now.
Isn't this one of the brands that grossly exaggerate their pressure figures? I think so.
I've owned an Aldi pressure washer before and whilst it was great for the application at the time (completing a reno) it started running into issues starting, and conking out randomly. I think if you go petrol you do it right and make sure its running a Honda 4 stroke or some other quality brand ($$$ of course).
This is certainly no where near 4800 PSI, though to your question OP, it certainly will get those odd jobs done much in the same way as my old Aldi unit did.
Petrol does have more power but there's more maintenance to consider too. In my opinion for the odd jobs just stick with electric. I'll personally buy a Gerni or other quality brand next time but because I want something to last the distance I'll get a higher up model, stronger internals.
