Does this make a difference? For example, I appointed my sister as the guardian of the kids if me and their mom dies. But my sister is in South Africa (no family here)… i was recently told that this is not allowed and the kids will be put in a foster house.. not sure if they will be able to assist but going to phone them tomorrow.
