It's wanting 9 cents more. Please fix!

Makes the Apple TV 4K (2021) 32GB come to $224.09 delivered… probably best price right now that I can find.

  • +1

Hey @AHUANG I purchased this from last deal and found them to be faulty with major battery and pairing issues. Should I return for a refund and buy another pair or send it back for a replacement? I’m within 30 days from the date of purchase

    • +1

You referring to AirPods? If it is, why don't you just rock up at Apple Store and get it swapped?

    • +1

Just go Apple they will do it on the spot. Book Genius Bar

  • You guys still sell Huawei phones? How are people using them to check in QR codes with government apps (which are only on Apple App store or Google Play)?

    • +1

Download government app, open it, scan code, done.

      • You mean just the apk? Does it pass the safety net though, for apps such as Medicare Express/MyGov?

    • You don’t need an app, just access to a camera, browser, and an internet connection. Have had zero issues using my P40 Pro in Melbourne throughout our two years of QR codes and vaccination certificates etc

      • 🤯 I can't believe I totally forgot that's possible.

A relative just got a Huawei phone and I've been struggling for some good time trying to research ways of getting GMS on it without having to install unknown apps. Thanks.

I am sorry to say this but I would stay miles away from this seller. They dodged me with an open box iPhone and sold it as brand new in box despite confirming it one phone before purchase. Buyers be aware. Read their previous posts before making any considerable purchase from Mobileciti.

    • Bought multiple items with zero issues. Fast delivery and item was perfectly described.

      • +5

my experience with mobilecity was bad as well

I would say to anyone around: stay away, dodgy as.

    • -7

      Hi,

if you received the product not as expected condition, we will offer return for full refund.

      • +23

is that so. when I bought a product from you, and it malfunctioned within a couple of days of delivery, you charged me $200 restocking fee on return.

and it took good two weeks of back and forth and a PayPal dispute to get even the rest of money back.

once again, buyers beware, and you're best to stay away

Can you tell us how Brand New US Variants of Pixel 3's had 3rd party Australian chargers in the box?

      • +13

Overwhelming evidence from different sources that boxes were opened. Stay away from Mobile Citi, Allphones and Sydney Mobiles eBay.

      • +14

Return product because it is not expected? Mate, do you hear yourself? You are selling used/demo/opened products categorized as brand new and then lying to customer's face. I trusted you when you said iPhone 12 pro plastic seal was damaged in transit so we put our own seal and that was the last piece in stock you had. I had to gift that item to my partner hence I took your word for it noting you are big seller on eBay with physical store. It was only until 10s of other people who reported the same issue. Some were even sold 8 month old demo phones when they clearly bought brand new. Then returning these products are hell lot of other challenge given the amount of lies you throw at customers. That's just cheating if not illegal.

Whenever I find your name, I will share my experience and advise potential buyers to do their own research before they buy from you guys. Piece of advice, be honest with your customers. If it is new, only then sell it as new. If it's box open, demo, used, please advertise them accordingly.

        • +6

That’s super dodgy, never thought an online store with physical store pull shit like this. Thanks for the heads up.

        • +6

I wonder what NSW Fair trading and ACCC are doing with this and automotivesuperstore - another example of complete customer disrespect…

      • +6

        Open boxes sold as new

        • -2

          Hi kurupted

If Open boxes still in excellent condition, we normally list "as new" condition, which not brand new, if you not happy with condition, please contact us or PM me your order details.

          • +1

@AHUANG: List them as "Opened – Never Used" or "used" to avoid confusion.

    • +9

I had a bad experience with them too. I specifically wanted a dual sim phone. I ordered one which stated at least twice in the listing that it was dual sim and had a product number that corresponded with the dual sim variant. When I unboxed and started using it I realised it was not dual sim.

I contacted Mobileciti to raise the issue. They tried telling me I ordered a single sim model. I sent them screenshots of the original listing to prove that was not the case. It was a painful process to communicate with them. I would go days without hearing from them, then they would repeat what they had already stated. Finally they agreed that it was a mistake in the listing when I ordered, it was meant to be a listing for the single sim.

Mobileciti stated that I was not entitled to a return/refund as the box was opened. After many weeks of trying to get a resolution, they gave a final and only offer of a 5% refund on my $800 phone. As it was all they would do, I accepted and moved on. But I will not be dealing with them again.

Oh, they also threatened that to pay the partial refund I was not to badmouth them in any way, publish anything negative, reviews or otherwise about the company. Only if I accepted those conditions would they proceed.

      • +5

Thanks for the heads up mate. Will never buy from them again.

    • +2

    Store Rep very quite now
I’ve had similar bad experiences from these guys
Should be banned from posting here IMO

    • +4

  • +4

I do agree, as per above comments. This store should be banned from here.

    1 for Sockpuppeting

    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 He's the store rep.

    • +1

      A pretty quite one.

Never explains issues but moves on to the next deal.

      • Quite quiet? A store rep can't sockpuppet lol. Dunno why someone made a silly report.

      • -4

Can you tell us how Brand New US Variants of Pixel 3's had 3rd party Australian chargers in the box?

        • +1

Make a public statement, stop trying to hide. Asking for PM or call.

  • +1

Thanks for warning . Was about to pull the trigger.

  • +3

Thanks everyone for sharing your experience was planning to buy but will avoid now.

  • +4

we need some sort of flag here on Ozbargain that says "use prices to price match only. do not buy from this store"

    • +3

come to think of it, could Ozbargain site automatically pull and display Goole reviews score, or some other review engine for the store linked?

and then encourage Ozbargain members to rate their experience there..

or maybe establish our own review system.. so that we can see straight away if the deal is good or the store is dodgy AF and to be avoided (but you can price match)

  • +1

Hehehe that was a fun few minutes, was hoping to see a few more replies from the rep

    • +1

      1000% agree.

Been caught out or the shop closed for the day so no responses until it opens.

Years ago I rang up and checked they had a particular phone in stock and the answer was yes. Got there 20 minutes later and they did not have the phone and did not have it for over 2 months.
So much for customer service. They tried to sell me another phone and I just walked out the door.

    • +2

years ago I tried to get a job out there (through an ad on Gumtree) :) luckily I've chosen another path

  • Bought from them years ago and didn’t have any issues, haven’t been in recently though so not sure how it’s run now

  • +4

Beware the AirPods 3rd gen I received a week ago from these guys was in an unsealed, opened box. Why?? So disappointing

    • -1
