          @Clear: it used to be. But things have changed.

          Even cheap items have shipping costs of a few dollars (~$5) which on ebay would have been free.

  why is aliexpress so expensive? especially the shipping, which is unusual from China. I see items cost more than $100 USD in shipping, and it's not even fast shipping. It's still going to take a month or so.

      an electric mop. I have bought these before. The package is not that big because the stick disassembles into pieces.

      But a lot of things are expensive shipping unlike ebay.

      Since the GST is based on the combined item + shipping cost (and the shipping is so huge), these coupons don't even counteract the GST.
