Dip your razor in a cup of water boiled from the kettle by the time u put u prep ur face with shaving cream then it will be perfect… unbeatable! Gillette has lost the plot!

I'd always been taught to avoid razor burn you prep the face up with warm water and use a cooler blade by running it under cold water?
It is because of gilette that i got into getting a double edge razor. 10 cents a jap made sharp blade that lasts a week and when i throw out the razor its just pure metal. Cheaper, better for skin, reduced environmental impact and I don't have to run over the same spot multiple times, but this heated razor must be good because it has latest tech huh?
These are terrible. The "heated" bit is barely warm, it's $10 per replacement blade, and it's a Gillette product.

Wait, what? This is $300 normally? So at a $10 blade/week you're in the $800/year band. For a shave that's only questionably going to be better than even a budget safety razor?
