    I like the Bavarian but consider it way overpriced for what it is - basically, a kitsch, German-themed pub. Where I live in Sydney, it's $30 a schnitzel and $15+ for an (admittedly large) beer. I guess being owned by private equity doesn't help, price wise.

    Used to be so good and authentic. Now the Bavarian serves food which is so far away from authentic and so far from premium product as they claim to be that you’d do much better to go to your local joint and most likely be much more satisfied. Though their beer selection is pretty ok even though they quite reduced the range which used to be on offer.

      I just called to make a booking and quoted 2 for 1 and all was good.

      Yup. Just had it an hour ago. I just followed the instructions in the email above and confirmed with the manager/waiter prior to ordering. They didn't ask any other questions.

    Added message on reservation note, took the family, no issues. There's even a separate 2 for 1 menu listing the different schnitzels on offer.
