  I'm really struggling to see the utility gap between a floor pump, which I use frequently, and CO2 cartridges for the rare case of a flat while riding.

  … maybe for off-road riders who frequently want to change tyre pressure?

  Yes it sounds better than a hand-pump, but who still uses those?

    A thought I had is for use while traveling. A decent floor pump takes up a lot of room and has a bit of weight to it

    Don’t get it either I ride both off road and single speed city. Mini manual pump takes bugger all to inflate, weighs nearly 1/3 of this, is frame fixed and only cost about $20. Also it has unlimited inflates. The mini can only do 2 tyre inflates on 1 charge. This appears to be one of the inventions that will appeal to a very small cohort of the cycling world. For me it’s a solid no.
