Well done for listing all the parts with the make & model

  • Largely looks pretty good. Power supply may be mediocre, would be nice to list the model/offer an upgrade option there.

The 3060Ti upgrade availability is a nice touch too.

    • +2

Noted, power supply options available for those who want something a bit stronger!

    • +6

      Power supply may be mediocre

isn't it more than enough ?

      • +3

650w more than enough for a build like this, even with a 3070 in it. i was running a ryzen 3600 + 3070 build off of a 450w Corsair SF450 until recently (sold the 3070 and put a 1080ti in, and its still fine), wasnt a problem at all.

          ryzen 3600 + 3070 build off of a 450w Corsair SF450

That's really good to know as 3070 is 50 W more than mine. I run 5600x (75 W) + 3060 (170 W) on Silverstone ST45SF 450 W SFX. I even measured the power usage with a smart plug and it is all good.

        • +2

I ran a 5700x with ryzan 7 3700x and with 600w under any load the pc would turn off, it depends if your going utilize up to or more than 80% or not.

          • +3

@HunterxHunter9000: Sounds like a faulty psu, not an insufficient one. A 5700 xt with a 3700x won't demand more than 500w even if you were running furmark and IBT at the same time.

            • +1

@xyron: Maybe not sure but every time Primer rendering or playing game at full it would restart pc, was a 80+ Gold rating, got sick of it and went for an Antec 1000w Titanium 80plus and ever since I can overclock to no limits.

              • @HunterxHunter9000: that's weird, what is the brand of 600 W PSU? I was running OCCT power stress test and it was fine. Tried 4.5 GHz all core and CPU went upto 108 W (stopped due to CPU heating, my new cooler is still on the way) but PSU was stable. Anyway I have used GPU under full load for hours. Mine is a 80 Bronze one.

What I learned was, with AMD, the mentioned TDP is not the actual TDP. This is my first AMD build and I found it weird. 65W 5600x is using 75 W etc. May be 5700XT is using more than 225 W which is mentioned in the spec.

@bazingaa: Armaggeddon (Voltron Gold Series 600W ) RGB Computer Power Supply from what i found out i think the power supply was pretty bad.

      • +2

Size is fine up to 3070, quality may not be great.

Appreciate the additional options provided, the CPU etc. would be fine for a future 3080/6800xt/4070 upgrade for 4k gaming if prices ever fall, so a 750w gold may be worthwhile for some.

        • Quality for this PSU is fine. Would likely be better than plenty of "gold" units.

But there's nothing stopping a good PSU from working for 15+ years, so it's not a component you want to have to upgrade due to not supply enough power and limiting future builds.

  • This may sound dumb, but if I wanted this without the GPU, what would it set me back?

    • Also keen to know this

    • +1

MSI Aero RTX3060 12GB is 1079 so rest of this pc would be for $420 under this deal, go to pcpartpicker and add all the parts being sold except for gpu and youll get pc price.

      • Thanks. I just gave it a crack and didn’t even get close?

        • Its always going to be cheaper for them because they buy their stock in bulk….

  • +3

If you upgrade to the 3070 i.e. add $750 this works out to be a better deal than the techfast deal posted today. The CPUs look pretty similar in performance.

  • +1

    good deal

  • +1

Good to see you back and good to see some budget build options.

  • what is a mini card?

    • +2

A miny card is a small, single fan version of the normal card.

Great for ITX builds but if you can it's better to get the dual or trio fan cards as they obviously have better cooling.

  • +1

    Is Windows pre-loaded?

    • +7

Yes, windows comes preinstalled with a license key, fully activated.

  • +1

Apparently the card is pretty decent for a mini and you are able to overclock it slightly without much thermal consequences.

Sold 10 units in under 2 hours looks like I'll be waiting longer for my system upgrade!

    More units please

    Good deal. Terrible stock level.

Love to see more competitions between TF, BPC & TT, hope to bring in more cheaper deals here. Please get us some 3070 or even 3080 deals too. Best thing for me is you guys are in Sydney, I rather come and pickup myself than being damaged by the courier!

    • +1

If you're in Sydney, there is no reason to even consider TF, in fact I would avoid those guys altogether, as long as you can deal with these guys who seem much more transparent and flexible & going on this deal, better prices.

      • Yeah very true, I pretty much prefer a Sydney shop which if having issues can deal with them face to face instead. So TitanTech please bring in more deals!

  • Better deal overall. $150 more and you get a TI ver is already a bargain. Highly recommend

  • Missed out, more deals please!

    • Can still buy if you willing to pay $200 more $1699

      • although the graphics card is now different?

        Gigabyte Eagle RTX3060 12GB

        • Right, this GPU got 2 fans instead, maybe why price is up!

        • Yes, you can now choose between 3 different GPU's, including the Ti, and the starting price is $1,699 (with Eagle 3060) instead of this deal's $1,499.

  • I still am not 100% sure but overall it works out to be better than the TF deal ? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/662704

    • I would argue it is a slightly better deal, as although the 5600x is a bit faster, you get a much nicer mobo, a decent ssd that looks to have a dram cache and a psu that is not infamous. Also a decent looking tower cooler.

  • @Titan Tech, would you be able to let me know what is happening with my order as I can't seem to get a response from you guys on your website. You guys state that you use startrack and the order would come in around ~4 business days. My order is booked in with sendle and it has not even been picked up yet. I contacted them and they said that a pickup driver had been there multiple times, but there has been nothing to pick up.
