does it come with AU plug?
It does, yes.
I'm not sure that this is GaN?
I bought this 65W Heymix one for $36.54 at the time: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B08RRM5CZ
Which looks significantly smaller.I bought this 65W Heymix
Link not working…
For what it's worth, I'm not convinced it's GAN either
Sorry, it's https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B08RRM5CZV
(The one on ozb 2 weeks ago)
This OZB Link is normal PD Charger. But still smaller than apple 60w charger.
The link https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B08RRM5CZV is first generation GaN Charger. 50% size of apple 60w charger,
The second generation GaN Charger www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08YJGLN3D, Half size of credit card.normal PD Charger
Ok but said on some images of the white version (now removed) and on the packaging that it's GaN.
Will that be working for pixel 6 pro? Cos I'm looking quick charger, thanks
Pixel 6 PPS standard as 30W output.
Working for pixel 6
If you use this (or any other PD charger) on a device which does not support fast charging, will it automatically default to a suitable voltage (presumably 5v?)
When I tried using a different PD charger on a phone which doesn't support it, the phone reported that overvoltage was detected and told me to disconnect the charger.
I'm keen to purchase a charger that can be used for all devices including bike computers, bike lights as well as phones.
Could a PD charger damage devices which are not designed for higher voltages/fast charging? It should be fine as should regulate as required. I say should as decent branded kit like Anker would, these Chinese ones could be hit or miss in terms of quality control. You get what you pay for.
Voltage remains constant, it's the increased current (amps) that facilitates fast charging.
Will smart control. It's not advanced technology. But the different is the program inside.
Worth paying more for the one with 2 USB C ports?
