  • Chinese film festival when?

  • This is actually really cool. Wish I was in Sydney.

  • Just while we're at it JFF, what was the deal with skipping Adelaide for the entire festival?? We host plenty of great film festivals here, and we've virtually COVID free for a year.

  • +2

assuming you're not just trolling, you're in the middle of the Sydney Film Festival and there are two Chinese films screening (well, one screening, one streaming) here.

For the rest of the year, Melbourne Australian Chinese Film Festival ran 5-11 March 2021, the International Chinese Film Festival last ran in Sydney in February 2020 and was likely impacted by the start of covid and has struggled since, though it could come back in 2022 - the drawcards of Chinese film stars would rely on easy international flights. The Golden Koala Chinese Film Festival is accepting applications for independent films for a 2022 showing.

you could keep track of festivals with sources like screenhub. and if you just want to stir shit, just take a spoon and head to your toilet.

  • Showing as full price for me =(
