I just purchased one to reduce cable clutter from the WFH setup. This monitor has USB C connectivity with 65W power delivery, built in 5mp webcam, mic with noise cancellation and decent refresh rate at 75hz. So a single cable connection with your laptop and you have fully functioning Video Conferencing setup. Seems like a great value as most other video conference monitors have less features and slightly more expensive.

Note - Please check that your laptop supports USB C charging with data transfers. Many laptops have USB C port just for data transfers and do not support charging including some of the older Dell models.

Key Features -
- QHD 2560 x 1440 at 75 Hz
- IPS Panel with AMD FreeSync
- 4 ms (grey-to-grey extreme)
- USB C Connection with 65W PD (Also has HDMI and DP)
- 5 megapixel pop-up built in Webcam
- 2 x 5w speakers
- 2 x noise-cancelling microphone
- 75hz Refresh Rate

See how they're smiling and waving at each other?

The picture is as close as you're ever going to get to that experience.

I have an essential job and work entirely with white men so you're probably right.

        • +4

          White people are the best

Will I'm of middle eastern decent and I'm not represented in this diversity, no deal 😉

  • +1

    The price also includes shipping.

  • +24

I'd rather purchase the S2721D, webcam and USB-C power supply and save a bit of money.

    • +5

Yeah I have no idea why this is getting upvoted… you can probably squeeze a Dell 4K monitor on sale into the mix for this price.

There'll be high quality 4K 144Hz monitors for less than $100 more than this price next year.

When you used USB-C monitor, it’s will be very hard to move away from it. My laptop connected with TWO external monitors by daisy chaining, using only ONE cable for both charging and output data. So convenient

    • +8

Unless you have a USB-C dock that does the same thing :)

      • +1

Most of the USB-C monitors have USB-A docks built into them, some have ethernet too.

    • +2

This monitor doesn't have display output, you need the dock model for that which is out of stock not in special.

      https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/dell-ultrasharp-27-usb-c-hub…

      • Ultrasharps hardly ever go on sale. I want that model too, although I suspect display out only matters if you have a second external display.

      • I thought usb-C hub means compatible daisy chaining ?

        • +1

This monitor doesn't have any display outputs to daisy-chain.
The hub just gives you another 2x USB-A.

    • Which monitor do u have, im looking for a monitor that support daisy chains.

      • +1

p2422he does, if you don't mind 24" full HD.
Got it for $296 with student discount.
        P2722he - 27" full HD

        • I have this one in dual version it works great

        • Is there a QHD version of the P2722HE?

        • How much % is the student discount? 36.6% ?

    • Only if you have the right combination of monitor(s) and laptop(s).

You have PCs going for USB-C MST (via DP) and Macs doing Thunderbolt with daisy chaining. Then, there is the 4K/60Hz USB-C/Alt-mode DP 1.2 vs 1.4 issue.

If you bring iPad Pros and Android phones into the mix, at 4K/60Hz, it just gets messy.

Don't need, won't buy, but great idea.

  • +5

Do these come with a built in voiceover that says "No, you're still on mute"?

    • +4

Theres one … at least ONE every meeting LOL!

    • +4

"Sorry was just looking for the unmute button"

  • Can the untrained eye tell the difference between 60Hz and 75Hz?

    • +2

On the desktop not really, in a game yes.

      • Even in a game, not really tbh

        • +4

Agree. 60 vs 144 is a huge difference. 60 vs 75 is practically the same.

        • +3

Perhaps my previous monitor was just a very high latency 60hz but I could tell the difference pretty easily.

    • +1

Yes, you can swap back and forth in settings between 60 and 75, decent difference scrolling ozbargain, moving around windows, mouse movement and gaming.

    • Been using 144hz for Years (since 2016 ish), now looking at 75hz or 60hz both looks choppy to me anyway so I can't tell the difference unless I am super focused.

144hz definitely is a game changer, and if you never had one (and willing to spend a little extra $$ when you buy monitor next time), you should definitely buy one.

  • Any working coupon-codes to bring the cost down further?

    • Try here

  • Includes usb-C hub. Good price.
Very good price if you can get additional 25% off student discount. Almost regret buying P2422HE

$749 is a weird price for this screen, given their video-conferencing (MS Teams certified) screen sells for the same price.

Bought one for work (not gaming) a few months back for ~$570 from Dell.

Hey xuqi… Several years ago you purchased a Samsung Note or Tab Pro. If you used memory cards with it, do you happen to remember the largest size card that worked? I own one. I'm trying to find the largest memory card that will work. (Manufactures used to say their product would take xxGB but they often quoted the largest card available. When larger cards would come out sometimes they worked too.)

      • Look up the type of memory cards it supports, and that will tell you the maximum size it supports.

I don't know if this is the device you're looking for, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro has a microSDXC slot.

Each format supports the following -
        SD 128MB to 2GB
        SDHC supports 4GB to 32GB
        SDXC supports 64GB to 2TB

Keep in mind, if you have a SDXC slot it'll also take the smaller capacity cards.

        https://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2520/~/sd/sdh…

        • Thanks. Yeah it's a microSDXC but I've read contradicting info in old forum posts. One person will say they tried xxxGB and it didn't work, someone else will say to only use Samsung cards because it didn't like another brand (Sandisk I think). I don't think I've seen anyone who tried a card larger than 128GB or it might have been 256GB. I know you can plug a 1TB USB HDD into it as long it's formatted correctly, but I'd love to know for sure if I can use a 1 or 2TB card.

      • The largest card I tested at the time was a 64GB Sandisk, which worked fine.

A friend stil owns and uses a Note 10.1 2014, with a 128GB Sandisk drive. Don't see why even larger cards (256GB) woudn't work.

Looks interesting… Would be good in meating room at work..

People who have this - how do you find it? excellent? It'll do? Buy a normal monitor and camera and mic… ???

    • +13

Do you work for a butcher.. What kind of meatings do you have?

  • +1

They could have put it in a bezel like on a laptop. Looks a little ungainly if you ask me

    • +4

It's a pop-up cam. You can push it inside when not using it.

      • +1

        that's what she said

      • Wasnt on Blooms OnlyFans page was it?
