  For those who missed out I had bought a similar sun shelter at bunnings for $7.95. Can't remember if it was on special at the time (was >6 months ago) or if they still have the item but might be worth checking out next time you are at the big green shed.

  I wonder if mods would consider changing the way voting works to somehow 'lock' voting once a deal is out of stock. Perhaps a way to report out of stock, and once verified no more votes accepted.

  This deal was out of stock within about 8-10mins of hitting the New Deals section. Seems pointless to promote it based on voting long after it was dead.

    Exactly right!

    I plus voted then revoked after I clicked on link to see it already sold out after 15min.
    Once a deal is expired or sold out, you shouldnt be able to vote on it.
    It's not a bargain if its not available in sufficient quantity so that it sells out in 15min.
