Simply spend a minimum accumulated total of points before 4 November 2021 to receive bonus Status Credits.

Points can be redeemed multiple times throughout the campaign, with the bonus Status Credits awarded on the total points redeemed during the campaign period (for example, if a member places 3 orders over the campaign period each worth 20,000 points, the total points used is 60,000 and the member would be eligible for 30 Status Credits). Bonus Status Credits will be awarded based on the actual number of points used during the campaign period. Bonus Status Credits will not be awarded to orders under the minimum points threshold (20,000 points) or on returned or cancelled orders. Any order over 100,000 Qantas Points will only be eligible for 50 bonus Status Credits in total. A maximum of 50 bonus Status Credits can be earned per customer throughout the campaign period. Bonus Status Credits will be awarded within 8 weeks of the promotion end date and will be backdated to 8 November 2021. Bonus Status Credits will be reviewed within 8 weeks following the campaign and in the event of product returns or cancellations, Status Credits will be deducted. Bonus Status Credits earned from this offer do not count towards Loyalty Bonus, Platinum Bonus Reward, Platinum One Bonus Reward and Status Accelerator/Challenge earn requirements. Bonus Status Credits are not transferable and will be governed by the Qantas Frequent Flyer terms and conditions.

    They plumbed new depths with the recent 20% off points promo. Saw the email on 15 Oct and was interested until I read that it was 20% off Points Plus Pay, not Classic Rewards.

    They then sent an email on 16 Oct that didn't even mention Points Plus Pay. And for a short flight like Sydney to Byron Bay they said:-

    Economy one-way was 25,000 pts
    NOW 19,900 pts

    Whereas of course a Classic Reward would normally cost only 8,000 points (plus around $31).

    I'm sure a few people would have been fooled by that.

    Bonus Status Credits earned from this offer do not count towards Loyalty Bonus, Platinum Bonus Reward, Platinum One Bonus Reward and Status Accelerator/Challenge earn requirements.

    There is no exclusion from counting towards lifetime status in this case.

    I thought that bonus SCs were never excluded (since they ain't particularly worried about your slog towards the very high numbers required), but it appears that they have been excluded previously in other promos.

    For example the BP Rewards promo T&Cs:-

    Bonus Status Credits will not contribute towards any Platinum or Platinum One Bonus Rewards, Loyalty Bonuses, Lifetime status and any Qantas Status Accelerator.
