Has a $70 off discount, for a decent barebone unit. Bought one of these a few weeks back, works a treat. Comes with EU plug, so make sure you have a IEC-C5 with AU plug handy, or a travel adaptor.

a few places like shopping express in the past just don't include a power cable, and sometimes list a "bonus free power cable" with it.
makes me wonder whether they are getting them with EU cords and just removing them and sometimes replacing them with an AU one.
You can add a thunderbolt egpu or M.2 ADT-Link gpu adapter to these to make them even better!
Any chance you can add specific model number to the posting to show thay this is the smaller form factor model that doesn't have a 2.5 inch slot? This is the RNUC11PAKI5 as opposed to the RNUC11PAHI5
What are the additional parts required to make this to work?
You need to add ram, storage, OS, and then kb, mouse and monitor.
the ram is laptop size, not regular desktop.
Out of curiosity - do NUC's generally see bigger discounts during Black Friday sales? Or is this kind of discount as good as it gets?
I bought this from Centrecom the other day $569, I'm very happy with my 4th NUC. It came with an Australian power cord supplied by Centrecom.
I've heard of this happening when buying a NUC. It seems like a real oversight on Intel Australia's behalf to not include an AU 3 Pin to Clover leaf Plug power cord that you can buy from eBay for under $6. Imagine coming home building your brand new NUC but you can't plug it in!!
