I paid around $270 earlier this year. Use it everyday.
I tried pressure cook. Ran it dry then had to top up with water and wait for it to re pressurise. Rookie error
Everything seems good but I don't really like the lid design. Any one used this can share any experience?
What part of the lid design don't you like? If it's having the lid open for the pressure lid to fit you get used to it. It's pretty big so storing it and the extra lid takes up a bit of space. We ended up putting the extra lid on top and putting a pot saver felt so it doesn't scratch it.
It's a great machine. I used it last night to make a quick pho broth.
My wife loves ours, we have the newer, larger model OP500, bought on special from Catch about 2 months ago.
Bought it on a recommendation from my mum. No problems to report so far.Anyone know how this compares to the Instapot Duo? Other than this has an air fryer function?
I have the InstantPot Duo Nova and I've been considering one of these to replace our Kmart air fryer. The InstantPot is amazing for pressure cooking and does it very very well. However, I'm pretty suspicious of machines that purport to 'do it all' like this one though. For us, we are keeping our InstantPot as a rice and pressure cooker, but will buy the Ninja Foodi Grill XL for air frying capabilities when it comes out next month. If you don't already have an InstantPot then I reckon this would be OK too.
I encourage you to watch some YouTube product reviews of this product - there are hundreds of enthusiastic Americans showing you how awesome it is :) It gives you a better idea in any case watching people cook the food you might use also, to see if its the right product.
Any deals on the OP303 or O305? Basically same but they also have dehydrator feature.
How's this a bargain?
