Reward & Reward Target Rules
The maximum Reward per Eligible Activity is a monetary equivalent value of $30. This applies to all Promotions, unless otherwise stated.

You may accumulate up to a monetary equivalent value of $1,000 in Rewards in any consecutive 30 day period. Any accumulation above the monetary equivalent value of $1,000 in this consecutive period is forfeited. For example, if you accumulate and redeem $300 in Rewards on day 15 of a consecutive 30 day period, you can only accumulate and/or redeem a further $700 in Rewards in the remaining 15 days in a consecutive 30 day period.

Your Rewards balance cannot exceed the monetary equivalent value of $1,000 in Rewards at any time. Once this monetary equivalent value is reached, the Rewards must be redeemed (via the Reward Target) before further Rewards may be accumulated. This is always subject to the maximum accrual of a monetary equivalent value of $1,000 in Rewards in any consecutive 30 day period.

Ah (profanity) maybe I should've taken that $20 Target promo after all..

    • -1

Not negative for the deal, just want everyone to see my comment.

Be careful with Zip pay, if you leave it to "auto" pay off you get charged $6 per month (account after 1 Oct = $7.95) for an "account fee". Ie just pay it all off as soon as you can.

Ozb got me on latitudepay/afterpay deals and they both are set and forget = "no extra charges" if you leave them to their default payment plans.

      • +2

You just need to elect to do the "Fee Waiver" payment schedule and you'll be OK set and forget

        • +1

          Good to know. Thanks

  • +1

Still got gift cards left from that epic deal last time.

  • +1

Is this for everybody or targeted? It doesn’t say anything on website ?

    • +3

I think it is for all with very tight timeframe here: within one hour per day.

If one can not get instore during the one hour, the best option may be to buy Prezzee eGC via digital wallet.

      • So digital wallet payment online is considered as Tap&Pay?

      • Just tried that in the last hour. It charged the zip card. But no reward recognised. Looks like this option has been closed.

        • +2

Yes, it was closed yesterday. There is an update in the initial deal post.

        • +1

You can contact Prezzee to issue a refund. Some related comments can be found below.

          • @Neoika: I did this but no refund for Harris Farm gift cards. Depends on issuer.

          • @Neoika: Thanks. I did that and it worked!

  • +2

Nice, I just increased my Zip Pay limit to $2000 last week.

    • I read somewhere here someone rejected it. For Zip, the higher limit the better!!!

    • Would you (or anyone else here) have any idea if Zip Pay do another credit history check if you decide to take up the limit increase?

      • +1

No, I think $2k limit is only for a user who has good repayment history for a year.

      • +3

I only had a credit report check conducted by Zip when I signed up. Nothing when I increased the limit to $1500 or when I went up to $2000.

      • 10% back is great, I spose a good time to stock up on gift cards.

        I wouldn't mind eBay.

How do you do them online for certain retailers?

        • If the retailer accepts credit card, you can always use a one-time card generated from the Zip Pay app. I'm actually not sure if this would qualify for the 10% cashback though :(

  • Curious does penalties apply if you use Pay now with ZIP.

    • what do you mean? i dont think you can use it to pay off mypaynow.com.au but you can request to pay it off with a debit card. if you meant can you pay off your zip balance , you can do that at anytime without penalty but it may take a couple of days for full credit limit to be available again depending on payment method and if transactions are still pending etc. edit i just read on app that zip has a new feature called pay now. i have never used it so i cant say.

Does it mean a potential of around 25% discount on apple gc up 5 × $300 - based on simple maths calculation?https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/apple-gift-card

    • +3

Combined with 30x Flybuys points that would be a pretty juicy deal

    • +1

      Max $30 reward per transaction.

      • +3

So buy a $300 gc in each transaction?

    • +1

yea, if we are lucky enough to get those gc during lunch time. I guess those cards will be gone in the early morning.

  • +1

I assume works on bills and rates at the PO ?

    • Depending on the biller as some don't accept visa only eftpos

  • +3

are we able to use this deal online?

  • +1

Maybe just me, but what exactly does it mean by "make that additional repayment"? Is that something you need to do to activate the 10% cashback?

    • Yeah not sure what "that additional repayment" is about.

      • +1

To replenish available credits as all purchase take at least one day to settle. It is for those who plan to spend $10k+ next week.

        • Thanks that makes sense.

        • +1

how?!? They block your account for paying over your account credit limit and by the time you got it fixed the promo is over.

          • +1

@samehada: The highest limit is now $2k. Since Coles always settles the purchases next day, it is theoretically possible to spend $2k each day for a week. Even for $1.5k limit, 7 times of it is above $10k. However, the deal has not been confirmed for everyone yet.

            • @Neoika: The "Make Extra Payment" button in the screenshot is only for those who had posted transaction to top up the credit limit.

Coles group is probably the only one that clear the transactions in one day. WW and Auspost tooks 2+ days. in fact even Coles transactions may also takes more than 1 day to be posted sometimes.

It's good that I got my Zip limit increased to 2k

  • Is this only for Zip Pay? I have Zip Money and when I click on Cards in the app it wants me to apply for Zip Pay?

This is a targeted offer, I have received a notification of this offer via my zip app. T&C states so which I can't revisit the page via app for some reason…

    • +1

Yeah same here, I also got the offer via app notification but then couldn't fine the offer again to read the T&C's once I had gone out of it

      • Yep, but I have checked the T&C beforehand and it stated so that you needed to receive the offer via app. So this is a targeted offer I think.

    • +1

      Same. This is very annoying.

      I didn't screenshot it either.

      • +4

⚠️ BEFORE you make any big purchase by zip from tomorrow, my suggestion is to buy a small item first and check whether you really get the cash back. I really hope someone can share a screen-shot of T&C which I can't revisit….

    • +2

Well today is your lucky day

(Imgur cause Ozbargain file uploader didn’t accept the image for some reason)

  • Don't see it anywhere. Guess they aren't happy with the amount of gift cards I bought last time.

  • Can't see anything on my app. Maybe NSW targeted promotion for opening up?

    • +1

      NSW people didnt get targeted

  • +1

OP might want to include details about the $30 minimum for redemption.

  • +2

Meaning between 9-10 WA time then.

  • Is this like November December last year super Saturday?

$300 per max tap & zip for $30 reward?

  • Targeted offer? Can’t see it on my app, no notifications either sadly.

  • looks to be targeted.
Yet to receive from email or app.

  • Here we go again.

  • Targeted?

  • +1

so if one is in brisbane, does this mean promotion starts one hour before that posted time?

    • +1

Damn yeah gotta be careful - does say aedt so 1 hr before in bris

      • -1

quite dodgy the way its being advertised, who would think of checking timezone when shopping =_=

        • +1

If you're gonna go to the lengths of spending money within a specific hour to save 10%, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that you should probably also check when that hour actually occurs.

  • +1

if stack with this offer "30x Flybuys Points with Apple Gift Card (Excluding $20 and $30 Cards) @ Coles IN 3 DAYS " (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/656176)……wow…
then stack with apple education store…

    • Zip or Afterpay I've never been able to buy Coles or Woolies gift card offers .

      • use zip as a visa card, why you cant buy gift card?

        • Because its blocked .
I've tried double stacking deals in the past .

          • @popsiee: I’ve bought TCN gift cards before using Zip at Coles, so pretty sure that’s not true.

  • I wonder it would work to buy coles and Woolworths gift card in store. That’s all i ever need tbh

    • YES,you can

  • +1

No email notification of this luractive offer. Might try it out once at lunchtime at a cafe and see how it goes.

    • Same, update if it goes through.

  • Looks like this is happening again. Combine with gift card offer from supermarkets

  • +1

Does Zip repayment count towards credit card spend x for points? Specifically for Amex.

    • No Amex acceptance for Zip (could happen, Afterpay eventually accepted it) but yes for MC/Visa. Havent seen them award no points for Zip yet.

    • I don't think you can use Amex to repay Zip account. Correct me if wrong. It's only Visa or Mastercard.

    • Ahh okay - thanks, haven't used Zip since they had some offer with Amazon last year.

  • Not received any notification (nsw).

  • +1

Where are you guys seeing this offer?

Can't see any email or on the App.

    • App notification; something along the lines of “tomorrow is the day”

  • Oh boy 10% Apple Watch 7 here I come

    • $30 max per transaction? That's a lotta gift cards, assuming you can even get them…

      • It is $30 max rewards not maximum spend.

So $300 gift card to get $30 max rewards (10%)

        • -3

I suggest you read the terms and conditions.

          • @YesPleaseThankYou: I'm basing this off comments and what OP stated

            Max $30 reward per transaction.

So not max $30 transaction (otherwise it would be $3 reward).

Where are the full T&C's to confirm, doesn't seem to have been posted yet in full.

            I wasn't targetted so can't confirm.

      • $300 max for $30 rewards back

  • can be used with amazon purchases?

    • Don't think so, technically has to TAP. not any online using zip pay.

    • Hi Jaspa7,

      I am curious too.
I am planning to buy Amazon gift card to buy stuff online.

      • +3

Yes I bought Amazon gift cards from 7/11 last time with zip pay and got 10% back

      • +1

Can confirm it doesn’t work online purchases
Spent $20 online got no rewards. Hope it’s helpful for others.

    • +1

Prezzy Apple Pay= buy Amazon cards and voila

  • Very short time frame. I guess there will be a lot of people looking for gift card and shop around this time at coles or woolies.

  • I haven't gotten any email or notification from the app. Is it for everyone?
