How it works:

  1. Choose you're favourite cartoon franchise and upload pictures & details of the person/s you want cartoonised.
  2. A designer from the team will get matched for the job and get to work on creating your portrait.
  3. We'll work with you to ensure you're 100% happy (unlimited revisions help!) and you can choose to receive a digital version only or have it framed and sent to a loved one.

  • Great idea OP, but be careful with copyright infringement; do as many as you can before the cease and desist warnings start to arrive.

    • +1

I just got an email from them.

I write to you with unfortunate news that we've received a cease and desist from a major studio. Unfortunately it looks like the attention from OzBargains has resulted in us having to stop all work immediately. I would like to advise you that a full refund has been processed on your order.

      • Got same email.

        • Their website is gone now as well. Gone too soon.

          • @xaykogeki: I did warn them: similar happened to a friend who did art posters….Big Brother is always on the look out to stifle the little-guy business.

    1. If I ordered a "Black Wood Frame with Stand" do I still get a digital copy?

    2. For the Frame with Stand, is "20 x 30cm" the actual frame size or the size of the picture inside the frame?

    3. Are there a minimum file size or resolution for the photos being uploaded?

    4. For the digital copy, would I be able to print it to an A1-size poster?

    • Thanks for your questions, responses below:

      Yes.

Print is 20x30cm and the frame is 28x38cm (thanks for this one, will look to update the website).

Vertical Images: 1588x2088px and Horizontal Images: 2669x1945px

Although it's cartoon i still wouldn't recommend A1. A3 would be the maximum i'd suggest.

Hope this helps, let me know anything further.

      Cheers,
      Jess

      • Thanks for your reply Jess.

Do you mean "Vertical Images: 1588x2088px and Horizontal Images: 2669x1945px" is the size of the digital copy?

        • Yep - that's correct.
