  Is the ipod head the one which locks in (requires sides to be pressed to remove), or the older ones which can be pulled out without pressing sides? This matters cos I have one that doesn't lock in, and the cable keeps getting pulled from my iphone while driving.

  I don't think this can charge iPad which needs 2.1 AMP, I bought one from Belkin which have 2 slots one for iPad.

  Just beware, there is alot of fake Belkin USB car charger selling on ebay that claim to be the genuine item. I bought one and it still does the job, but the packaging gives it away that it is fake.
  PS I am not claiming this one selling is genuine

    My cables are fine, I've been through 2 belkin replicas, but at $1 each delivered, how can i complain? The original belkin item that cost me $20 a few years back is still going strong.
