I have a RX 6700 at the moment but will upgrade to a 3080 in the near future… Will this be fine for that?
Depends on your CPU too, if you are using Intel Core i9 you will most likely need 750 watts minimum. If you are using something like Ryzen 3700x than 650 watts is fine. Especially I just have a quick glance of the review that OP posted above, it reaches 90% efficiency constantly, it should provide up to 585 watts to your system.
to be safe, go for 750w +
minimum is 750w, but it is gonna be hot so you will need 850w
I have a 750W PSU with a 6700 XT and the fans don't even kick in… I doubt another 100W is gonna kill it, let alone scratch it.
you are trying to compare 2 different GPU, 6700xt is not even close to 3080
3080 (750w minimum)

@Tarus: Stop looking at those recommendations, they're useless. What I'm saying is if my PSU isn't even turning the fan on with a 220W GPU, I doubt another 100W on a 100W smaller PSU will kill it. The 3080's TDP is 320W, so if we add that and a 100W CPU, and another 100W for drives and such, we still have 130W left, which is enough headroom.
@Void: Well, what ever answer suit you the best
bought 1 thanks OP
No problem.
Thanks OP!
My power supply just died last Sunday, perfect timing!
Bummer it's only click and collect and Maribyrnong is sold out. Good price though!
Sold out online, can still get instore only
Great price for a good PSU. The 30 series cards must have meant that demand for these lower wattage ones dropped a bit so they are looking to move them on
Very decent price.
Going .. going and gone! online anyways
Before I got my Corsair gold, I was using the Bronze version of this PSU and it was great! RGB is the icing on the cake.
Out of stock now.
I don't know much about PSUs but 10-year warranty on a product which costs $89 is an awesome guarantee!!
That didn't last long. Sold out

EVGA SuperNOVA GA Series 650W 80+ Gold Fully Modular Power Supply

$99.00 with code: SEPSPENDNSAVE
I preffer semi modular, the soldered ATX power connector passes more current than one plugged into the sockets and cant be avoided, and you need the CPU power so also cant be avoided, I find only the SATA and IDE drive power where I want less cables.
Here's a review of the PSU.
TL;DR - PSU is excellent.
