There is dark and milk chocolate available. Looks like a lot of stock on hand but can't say if offer is at other Woolworths stores as well.
Looks like the expiry dates on these bars is 30th March 2012, but I think it is highly possible that it will be consumed before that.

I saw these there last week and thought it was a general Woolies special but it isn't - Town Hall only it seems.

Saw it today, no one seems to be going near it, they had a similar lindt product last week as well but also expire in march. They hold onto it till it almost expires, why dont they do half price in Jan/Feb?
How is that a valid reason to neg the deal?
They were $1.99 a block at Woolworths Town Hall last month, so they were still reduced over the normal price for Lindt blocks.
Chocolate is still good after best before for at least a month or two, should have been all devoured by that time
the ones that I've got on special from there are march expiry too - but good value, reasonable chocolate!

$10 a kilo for the dark is fabulous. I am not a big consumer of chocolate but stock up on quality dark choc for cooking when it is available at these sorts of prices. Great find.
anyone can confirm if this offer only available at woolies town hall only or other woolies store also available? and any one know when is the expiry date of this chocolate?
yeah its mostly (if not all) 30 March 2012 - i got some on Friday from the Sydney Town Hall one
bought the dark with caramel today. I can eat the entire block in one sitting. Don't care about the expiry.

Just walked into Town Hall Woolies and the price is 50c…..wow what a bargain I bought 5 of each
Yep, was just in there as well. Still stacked high both in the basement near the exit to Town Hall station and on the Ground Floor level. I guess they really want to shift them now.
can they legally sell them past the best before date?
best before date is 30/03/2012 , so still have 2 weeks …
Just come out of Town Hall, they are selling fast and most shoppers are buying at least one or two. More boxes added, but it sounds like today maybe the last day to buy.
I was here a while ago and asked the guy who said there were quite a few more boxes up back. Had a friend who bought 10 and paid in 5c pieces

That's fantastic. The cheapest you normally see those is about $1 at Sweet As (also close to their best by date).
Price is back to 99c and not many people buying. Only dark chocolate is remaining.
