Great for winter mornings, to take camping, to the snow or for the kids to take in their pockets to school. Here’s hoping we might be able to do more of that next year.

They aren't that bad for the environment. It's mainly iron, salt and something to bulk up the hand warmer. The heat comes from the iron rusting with the salt, so usually all the material is benign and will break down.
these are great when i go skiing and snowboarding, but no need this year because of lockdown.
Meh, boiled eggs FTW. They stay warm for over an hour and you can eat them afterwards.
