Just saw a Foxtel commercial on Channel 7 offering a Free LED 22" TV, Free IQ1 metro install, Free first month, and Free footy remote to new customers. Minimum cost is 11 x $55. I couldn't find the offer on their website, but I did catch that it's being offered to the first 1500 new customers to sign up. Sorry that I can't be more specific, but this is all the info I could collect in 30 seconds. Maybe someone can call them and confirm the details?

I highly doubt it would come with sport. Free TV set is not free. They would be covering the cost of the TV which would mean they wouldn't add in sport. No anecdotal evidence but I wouldn't see any way they would include sport.
Phone them and ask them. We just bought this package as a gift for someone.

Seems like they just went down to their local Goodwill and swiped this 'Free' crap from there, tbh.
For one thing, I already have a TV, a 58" Samsung Full HD 3D TV, why would I want a POS 22" one for?
2nd, this offer is for IQ1, which is only SD, that's gonna look pretty damn pixelated on my TV, now isn't it?
3rd of all, what do I want a Footy remote for? I don't even like the sport!
Here's what I would like from Foxtel:
Free installation, $55/pm for IQ2 with Standard package and Sports package (so I can watch the REAL Football) in HD.
No hidden charges, no 'upgrade' fee to get IQ2 and no charge to get HD on every seperate channel package!
Cut out the BS and give us what we want, not what we don't want!

Called Foxtel to enquire… this is basic package only with no sports. Funny thing is that with basic package you get first month free, however if you upgrade with other packages you DONT get first month free, hubby asked about sports package and was advised it would be $45 for first month then $65 per month.
