Not going to opt in for others this time.

    • +2

Yeah, please don’t opt in if you are not really buying so others who need it can use the slot.

    • Yep.. Not gonna use it, so not buying it!

  • Cheers OP. Activated and purchased.

Just remember as somebody mentioned in the last post…it has to be printed out to be used. I think some people know a work around but for me this was a major headache and used a ton of printer ink. Probably $2 worth😅

    • Yeh it printed the whole page in dark background thank god for laser printer.

      • How do you send the gift card to computer to print it?

        • +1

I print it directly from my phone by saving as pdf, but if you want to print from computer I guess you can share the link on (top right corner) and send it to your email?

    • Scanned off phone ok last week
Took a bit of fluffing around but scanned

      • Do you have to enlarge the barcode to a specific size?

        • No just how it was in the app

          • +1

@horice: It does help if the screen is set to its brightest setting, and to zoom in on the barcodes so that only one is visible at any given time.

Otherwise the poor staff member has to fidget around, and cover one barcode with their hand whilst trying to scan with the other.

  • Awesome, super fast tracking too :)

Just a reminder that e-gift cards can only be used in-store and not for online purchases as per their redemption FAQ: https://www.bunnings.com.au/gift-cards

Currently Bunnings Gift Cards can only be redeemed in person at Bunnings stores.

    • Are more than 1 gift card allowed for a single transaction?

      • +1

        yes
but beware it's really slow to scan

  • Wow that tracked fast. More for the Reno $ pool~

  • can u pay with GC if u have powerpass?

  • weird thing I noticed from this time and last time (13 sep) they ran this deal, the voucher shows a purchase date of 18/5/2021

    • check the bar code 1, it should be a different code.

      • yeah codes are different

    • Even weirder that Bunnings ask you to print out the gift card…

      • It’s hard to center the barcode, specially with iPhone, specially if you want try to keep your phone touch free from Bunnings operator,

        I rather print it

  • Anyone got their previous cashback for bunnings on the 13th yet?

    • +1

Yep…and i used the $2.30 cashback from the last one to buy this one…

Just need to wait till bunnings in victoria will allow walk ins to use it…

      • +1

Hope they have a long expiry date ;)

        • Bunnings giftcards never expire apparently… but most for actual funds are held for 5 years tops at the clearing house.

    • Got my 30c and $2 all confirmed and approved. Got it redeemable 3 days ago.

      • that was fast, i got my 30c confirmed first but the $2 is still pending. i would have thought it would be the other way around considering the $2 was this challenge and the 30c was just the cashback which can take up to what 90 days?

  • Thanks!

  • +1

Can this be used to buy snags out the front?

    • you sure can but they may not have the scanner guy

  • Challenges used to show completed not long after a transaction. Looks like it might be a few days.

  • Does it have to be used in one transaction? The fine print says it can only be used once.

    • +1

Yes its one time use only, I believe they refund you money back instore up to $10 for the remaining balance.

  • Should be a popular deal with construction workers in Melbourne since they won't have anything better to do right now

  • +1

Says I didn’t make the first 1000, wtf? I feel like I got scammed, not doing this again, what a joke

    • This has happened to me also with the last Bunning deal. I think they should just take it off when full.

      • +1

It’s dodgy as, leaves a very bad customer experience, my preference will be back to cash rewards from now on, well done with your stupid scam shop back, hope the cents you got was worth it

        • Hey @bowtiehoon,
I apologize if you didn't see the messaging "Be one of the first 1,000 to win this Challenge" on the Bunnings promotion.

This has been the same across all of our Challenges, for all time.

If you need assistance, I'm a DM away.
          Cheers.

          • @gotyourback: Is that first one thousand enrolled or one thousand completed?

            • +1

              @Yola: Complete.

              • @Sheng: Thanks. So then more than 1000 may get the bonus once those that enrolled complete? I am pretty sure I would not have purchased if 1000 had been completed but still did not get a bonus.

  • Are people successful with phone scans instead of printing these out?

There is no option to download the PDF to then print. And the print button on my phone does nothing (although I print stuff all the time from my phone).

    • Yeah, I just showed a gift card from my mobile. not a problem
