That's one of the main reasons I haven't bought one even though I've been after one for years. I'll probably end up getting one from either Bunnings so I can return easily if there's issue or just bringing a quality unit back with me from Japan if I can ever return. My relatives one in Japan has been going strong for over 10 years with more features than this unit.
is it exactly this model (ie. pro model)? I couldnt find much reviews on this model…
Pretty sure it’s the same brand (Whale Spout), look, and yes the pro model, just don’t know if they’ve pushed out new models.
I read Chinese so the reviews I found out are from those sold in China
How does this compare to the other brands on eBay? As there's units from other sellers that also have heated seats and other features within this price range.

There are no toilets at bunnings or my local ken's plumbing I can find that fit this and look nice.
I took it to ken's plumbing and not one fit.
I also took it to bunnings and there were no good fits.I ended up getting the bunnings Evakare which i like less than the whale spout, even that doesn't fit prefectly but looks presentable.
The Bunnings unit diagram states that the depth of the bowl needs to be more than 570mm; is this a typo? As 570 seems to be a really deep toilet.
Other than the fit, any other comments about the Bunnings unit?
I don't have the specifics but I bought the longest best fitting bowl from bunnings and there was about 5cm overhang.
The longest bowl from ken's was about 2.5cm overhang.It's fine.
Bit too much pressure on default setting.
Loud beep sitting down which is annoying at night/with guests.
Loud deodoriser? Could turn off with the xiaomi.

I have this, bought in march. The wireless remote couldn't be paired with the seat. The remote itself works. Tried contacting gearbite but had no reply.
Also tried connecting the WiFi to my mi home but it's impossible. The app just couldn't find the product. Overall not very happy with it.
- restart the power. 2. Long press dry and female button in same time, then remote flash. 3. Press +(flow). 4. Press Stop, then have beep sould. Pair successfully. Please try that.
This Version come with Remote controller and remove connection with APP.
Hi i tried this. I could get the remote to flash after step 2. Then I pressed +(flow) and then pressed stop. But nothing happened. This is all done on the remote and i didn't press anything on the toilet (lid closed). Please help

Do you have a "standard" toilet bowl? We are renovating and I am not sure if it's easy to find a suitable bowl for this seat

I wouldn’t recommend this. Bought one 2 years ago and already dead. Saw quite a few others reporting the same problem.
