is this suitable for growing tomatoes?
how many ounces of tomatoes per plant could you expect from this light?
None. You heed 3000 to 3500 for correct growth.
4 of these attached to some thick cloth are amazing lights for working on cars.
If you're the soldering type; the 48v requirement can be dropped to 12v quite easily to run off a car battery.
It really is nice to work in 'daylight' when under a vehicle.
bought 9 of there 600x600 panels of the same type earlier in the year to replace lights in our warehouse and they are pretty good lights, only thing i would prefer is 5000k
Would be good if you are trying to build something like the LED sign in this pic: https://www.reddit.com/r/battlestations/comments/p5fm7i/pvc_…
That was one of the most upvoted "battlestations" on Reddit
Might have bitten if temp ranges of 3000K to 5000K were available.
Just bought one to use as a portable worklight of sorts. The larger surface area compared to a traditional small light will give much softer shadows.
I received it this week. I measured it at between 5560K and 5600K with a CRI of 89.1 and TLCI (Qa) of 89.9. Pretty happy with it.
I wonder why OP edited the deal and changed the price from $28 to $99.
