Its $269 on Binglee ebay and $399 on acer website.
Thanks.
i dont think its 144hz, according to other sites, its 75hz
Ouch… That hertz…
Acer's website lists 144hz.
With its 1ms response time and 75Hz refresh rate, the Aspire VG270 IPS monitor has minimal delay when displaying vivid visuals.

ACER 27IFHD IPS/1MS/75HZ/FSYNC
you where on the wrong item page, the one you where on is VG270 P This is the None P model.
https://www.acer.com/ac/en/MY/content/model/UM.HV0SM.003Ah I see. My bad.
That's right, I will edit the post.
75hz not 144hz.
Too slow for MineSweeper….
If it was 144 I would have bought it immediately. That's a shame, 😢

This is a decent IPS for $50 more
But Acer is 27inch.
24 inch makes it a bit less appealing for the price
Yeah I agree but I wouldn't go for a 1080p 27 inch. Probably better to check on staticice for a qhd one on sale
Low resolution for the screen size
I bought this monitor a few years ago to play Red Dead Redemption 2 on my PS4.
Good for 1080/60fps gaming but not a great monitor for work.
SInce upgraded to a 27 inch 4k dell monitor for around $350 and it's a way better all round monitor.
Edit: Should also note I purchased for $249 in late 2018.
Hi. New to 27” and haven’t had a chance to browse around at the shops. Looking for a 27” for purely WFH spreadsheets, webpages and all. Some have advised that 27” 4K is a bit of an overkill for the purpose as the scaling would need to get jacked right up to 150% so as the text doesn’t appear too tiny. What would be your opinion?
After using a 27 inch 4k monitor there's no way I'd go back to a 27 inch HD monitor for work.
People might say it's overkill but it's essentially like having a retina display for your computer and you can definitely tell the difference, even with scaling set at 150% things just look super crisp and you still have a lot of extra screen real estate.
One thing though I've noticed though is sharing your screen on a Teams meeting can often look very small to the other particpants cos your sharing such a high res screen, so basically say I'm sharing a word document I'll need to scale up the word doc 200% on top of the existing screen scaling.
Also I use it for PS5 so it's a no brainer for the 4k monitor.
Got this some time back for $179 (which I think was a price error, as that's what its 24 inch cousin costs) from Bing Lee in-store. Well worth the $229 for some cheap 1080p gaming. Unless you're heavy into competitve gaming and need that 144hz refresh rate, this one does just fine. I, for one, have always thought that 1080p is perfectly adequate for a 27 incher, but I know that's not a popular opinion in today's frenzy for squeezing in every last pixel in the smallest of screen sizes :).
Have been using this for WFH as well, and again, it serves the purpose well. Not too much glare, and easy on the eyes when I'm spending hours blankly staring at irrelevant spreadsheets. Visibility in direct sunlight is poor, so make sure your gaming / work station is not directly facing the sunlight-endowed windows. Not a deal in the current market.
Really? I've been looking for a 24 to 27 inch monitor for a couple of weeks now. Not much in stock at present. And $229 (no longer available) was a good price from what I've seen.
There's enough if you go looking, just use eBay, StaticIce and here, the problem is people don't know to run separate searches for multiple terms for various resolutions, eg. FHD, 1080, 1920x1080, 1080p.
At this price and for 60-75Hz focus on QHD deals, keeping an eye out for the next Dell eBay code in 1-4 weeks.
Regardless, you should have no issue getting a 24" FHD 144Hz IPS or TN monitor at this price.
'just use eBay, StaticIce and here'
Have done all these and cannot get anything near this price that is in stock.
'you should have no issue getting a 24" FHD 144Hz IPS or TN monitor at this price.'
I've spent 3 hours on this over the weekend. Only one that was even remotely possible was this one from Dell https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/dell-24-monitor-s2421hs/apd/…. Issue once again is stock.
Wanting 24 to 27 inch monitor. Height adjustable. Speakers preferable. In stock. Under $230 delivered.
@DrRalph: I've found a handful of options, but I'd imagine you can figure out why I'm not providing them to you now. It's relatively slim pickings, which is why I said wait for Dell eBay deals, not Dell website deals.
You're also one month the other side of a massive sales period in the middle of a global pandemic where there is still wildly fluctuating demand for PC-related purchases, so maybe check your expectations along with your attitude. All the best!
