Cheers OP got 10
Seller gave me an extra 20% off for paying with western union
Are ya in the Silver City out West where the union is?
I dunno man it looked like a hand written receipt the seller filled in, took it to the post office, paid in cash and boom done! Just a shame the sellers gone on holidays so might be a while before I get tracking number to Serbia
Made of the finest Chinesium
Such cynics. The website says "Guaranteed safe & secure checkout."
Spotted this ad on Google for 10 Pieces of Wireless Combination Tool Kit US$49.99+ $8 shipped
Found the price irresistible so I take the bite
Besides of the "too good to be true" price tag, the whole transaction actually is faultless.
They have all the ligit bell and whistle, and I still think I can get my money back.
The company that received my money is :
广州浩英电子商务有限公司
https://dianzhangzhipin.com/company/3nx92di9.html
It said they established on March 2020
Unless the site has been hijacked, I don't think it is worth all the hassle to scam the $85 for all the work and cost.
Unless they are collecting say 100 ppl that make it $8500 then it would worth it.
If you’re convinced the site is legit, then I’m not sure what your question/reason for posting here is
I don't know that without asking here, and dig further.
Now I believe this is a scam and trying to get my money back.
Just want to say these scammers are getting more sophisticated. (there sites are perfectly setup just like any commercial site)
I made my purchase on the phone while I was walking in park, without knowing what is the RRP.
So this is a lesson learnt. Hope others don't make the same mistake.
As the scammer is still out there. No simple way to stop them.
Thank you guys.
I just filed a report to Google Help about this ad placed on Google app feed.
Hopefully, they can locate the ad and ban it from scamming people.
(I don't know how to find the original feed, just provide the url I list in this post)
I'm about to buy some Rule 1 R1 WPI protein from Xtreme Warehouse (their cookies and cream tastes amazing!). I haven't dealt with them before so was wondering what the consensus was here regarding this company? I.e. are they reliable, good practices for storage (some products could be damaged if not stored properly at the warehouse) etc?
The last post on the forums is from 2013 (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/124698) and has one commenter saying they were not happy. I guess it's a good sign they've been around since 2013?
Their rating on Amazon is only 67% for the last 12 months, with people complaining mostly about not receiving their orders.
I usually get Optimum Nutrition protein from Aminoz, but Xtreme Warehouse seems to have the best price for Rule 1 protein.
For example they have the 5lb R1 for $129.90, whereas it is $139.95 on Catch. On Amazon, Xtreme Warehouse has the 10lb chocolate fudge (which doesn't taste quite as good as the cookies and cream) for a hard to beat $179.95.
What do you think?
Also on Amazon, this looks like a good deal: $112.50 for the 2.5kg R1 salted caramel sold by Elite Supps Australia (haven't heard of them before).
Fromthefarmer market themselves as a direct to home fresh produce delivery business. Their website has a choice of boxes that can be selected depending on the frequency and the quantity. The option I chose is supposed to be a box of produce delivered weekly for 4 weeks. After the first delivery (10/02) they have gone completely silent. The second delivery on 17/02 was missed and there has been no response to my emails or voice mails since then.
Unfortunately I wasn't thorough initially when placing the order. I used a debit card to pay for it and checking their website now there is no other contact details except and phone number and an email id. I have had gotten answer via email from them for a query regarding my first delivery, so the email id was actively used.
There is no ABN or any other details that would make it look like a legit business. They do have a page on FB with 8K likes and regular posts from past 2 years. Though there hasn't been any new posts since Dec 2021.
I am worried now if I had been duped and what recourse do I have at any chance of getting back my money? I contemplated complaining with NSW Fair Trading, but wanted to see what my fellow members had to say about this before attempting a complaint.
Why would you order from a random website that just popped up one day? Particularly one with no solid contact details. It's baffling.
This came up as a groupon deal around the same time when the missus was getting particular about eating fresh/healthy. One thing led to another and I just assumed this would be a good option. To be frank the FB page sold me on it. Frankly I didn't think it through for such a situation.
The Facebook page is fake. The likes are fake and all bought. Even the stock photos are fake from royalty free website.

@Hybroid: ah (profanity) hell.. guess I have learnt an expensive lesson. I was supposed to be the careful one in the family. What puzzles me is why deliver the first one?
@nokia3660: So you sign your mates up!
@BHR: well that makes sense
@nokia3660: Buying enough time to generate sales and cash-out maybe? Can you do a credit card chargeback and get your money back?
@Hybroid: unfortunately as I mentioned earlier I paid with my debit card.
@nokia3660: Some banks do debit card payment chargebacks too. Worth asking.
@Hybroid: okay, I'll give that a try. Thanks
@nokia3660: Is your card not a Debit Visa or MasterCard? If they are, you can definitely chargeback.
@kerfuffle: I used a single use VISA card from Revolut. Glad I at least used a single use card. I'd check with them regardless. Thanks
@nokia3660: Most will go small on first time for a trial to see what its like. Suckers punch in more $$$ for the second time.
I'm not convinced that this is fake. As you said, they sent you one shipment. Surely they wouldn't bother doing that if it was just a scam.
I was hoping so, but them going radio silent on me is a big red flag. couple of other members here had some valid reason for sending the first one through..

Just sayin…
@spackbace: I don't think I am gonna pay them a visit ;)
Their phone number (02-80355402) is still active and the voice mail greeting still says "From The Farmer". Not sure if this is of any help though.
Update: Today is Thursday, lo & behold the delivery arrived. The delivery guy had no idea what happened to the delivery last week but told me that he would take it up with his boss. I did ask him to ask his boss to at least reply back to my emails.
I should probably advise my bank to ignore the dispute I raised yesterday.
This headphone here : https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/185282428019
The deal seems too good to be true so it's probably not?
Obviously not. 4 feedback seller…
thank you, I knew the price was too good to be true!
Thank you for your time
Seems that this is $80 cheaper than RRP?
Posted from Australia. If they were fake I'd expect it to be posted from China. Says delivery is by 4t march if you order today, free shipping.
Can you give it a go and if they are clearly fake, report the seller to ebay, chargeback on your CC (or contact ebay) because selling fake goods is a serious crime?
ah, that great seller lzskjbvp;274, I mean kxbsjdbf;abe984y75r, geez, how do i keep getting it wrong.
Hi,
Came across this sponsored ad on facebook:
rmoutlets.store
Apparently a clearance on RM Williams boots. I assume that this is too good to be true and therefore a scam. A pair of RMs for $55 when they're normally $500… Doesn't even seem to be anything wrong with them. But PayPal is a payment method so that always makes me feel a bit better. But how do I know if they are actually using paypal or if they will just steal my paypal login details?
Can anyone confirm 100% that this is a scam or not? How do you know?
Stopped reading at:
sponsored ad on facebook
Yes, fake.
A pair of RMs for $55 when they're normally $500
No honest, they are genurine…
Ronald McDonald-Williams shoes, only come in red, very large fit.
Hi,
There was a legit way to buy seconds from RMW in Adelaide and elsewhere…
https://www.reddit.com/r/AustralianMFA/comments/3w2kf3/rm_wi…
Sometimes I want to think this is just elaborate sock puppeting instead of someone actually thinking they got the deal of the century and actually considering giving money to scammers lmao
If you have to ask.,…
Do you really need to post on OzB to verify that Facebook ads are fake?
im sure they just have an off chance hope that one day someone else will be like , no! That deal WAS legit! Here are my $50 RM williams!
Wow, I'm honestly surprised at how many sarcastic, stuck up keyboard warriors there are here. Someone asks for a bit of guidance and you feel the need to express how much smarter you think you are than the rest. Hope that makes you feel big and strong, because obviously you don't have much else in your life. What's the point of being on a forum if you just disrespectfully disregard the posts that you feel like you know the answer to?
@holdenmg thank you! As you helpfully pointed out, there are a number of places that do sell RM seconds at big discounts, so this isn't AS far fetched as it may seem.
No one bothered to answer my question regarding how to know if a paypal checkout is actually a paypal checkout and not a phishing link. The use of paypal implies that it is a safe transaction, but obviously you need to know that you are actually checking out with the legit paypal. How can that be confirmed?
As you helpfully pointed out, there are a number of places that do sell RM seconds at big discounts, so this isn't AS far fetched as it may seem.
$275 is much more than $55…
I don't know your definition of far fetched, but this price difference definitely counts as far fetched for me.
Regarding your PayPal question, I think no one answered because it would just be the typical/standard/common responses to protect yourself against scams - but based on your response, probably not worth incurring your wrath for pointing out the obvious…
sarcastic
Ah the irony of that username and that comment…
Really you had it all answered yourself anyway:
I assume that this is too good to be true and therefore a scam.
We recently purchased some L'Erbolario perfumes and cleansers from naturitas.com.au
When we received them today, the font on the boxes we received is different in size and position to the font on the actual products shown on the manufacturers web site, Naturitas.com.au and also for the same item sold by other sellers.
I am 99% sure we have received fakes.
Has anybody had a similar experience with naturitas.com.au
Another thing that worries me is when we tried to contact customer support for naturitas.com.au they had no contact phone number, and the email web form you have to complete comes up with an error before you can complete it.
I don't know how many red flags you need…
Hard to argue.
The web site looks professional.
We only found out about the contact us problems once our order arrived (and at least we received something).
To a casual observer the boxes look pretty much the same as the real thing - but it is those subtle differences in font size and positioning that give it away.
It looks about 95% the same as the real thing.
Hopefully we can charge back the payment on the credit card.
I posted to see if anyone else has had the same issues with purchases from naturitas.com.au
And also to warn other potential customers to look carefully at their perfumes when delivered….
Thanks for warning everybody else’s who might buy from this site! Such a scummy move by the site owner!
Might be a scam site for this one https://www.naturitas.es/formulario-contacto
How is your Spanish?
https://empresite.eleconomista.es/NATURITAS-HOMEOVITAL.html
If not a scam site it looks like you’re after Josep Casas and Esteban Humet
https://www.nobaventures.com/post/the-piggy-backing-techniqu…
It’s possible with this business model that the company doesn’t realise they are selling fakes. Also possible you bought fakes from a fake site.

Came across this ad on Facebook Marketplace. They are selling Breville Bambino Plus for $299 including free shipping which is pretty sweet deal.
Have an Aus number and claimed to based in The Ponds, NSW.
https://espressopro.net/collections/coffee-maker-espresso-ma…
Same contact number
Which if you google the number, comes up as Katoomba Village shopping centre in NSW.
Website created 17th Feb this year
Contact Us page isn't even filled in, and has a fake, non-Australian address
Which is a bit of a drive from The Ponds
Thanks! Finally someone replied and cleared my doubt.
The phone number and address actually point to The Ponds shopping centre. Not that it makes it more legit.
Saw a tV cabinet for sale on facebook markets and the salesperson said it can be bought from their website - shoppingplanet.com.au. The salesperson only recently joined fb, has no reviews and only has a handful of friends.
Has anyone bought from shoppingplanet.com.au and can attest to its reliability? or is this a potential scam?
An authorised representative from the Scam Assessment Team (SAT) will be with you shortly.
In the meantime we suggest you refrain from using the internet and instead visit Harvey Norman to purchase a tv cabinet.
Regards
Manager SAT
I would wait for the Scam Helper Internet Team (SHIT)

ABN listed on website is legit, albeit with the spelling error lol also very new
Contact Us only has email and mobile contact
The fact you saw it advertised on FB is a big enough red flag
They also have a presence on Trust Pilot. Most reviews are positive, but a new negs have crept in
Prices aren't that cheap anyway to bother with the risk
This TV cabinet for $1542 is $1607 at Matt Blatt (kogan) but $1124 here
Good ole google image search
@spackbace: I was actually looking at this specific TV cabinet with a rattan design

Hello,
I got recommended this link by my brother for a cellarbrations site that has premix slabs for $13. He's already bought some and I was about to post it as a deal but it seems possibly too good to be true? https://shop.cellarbrations.com.au/
Im a little concerned as the website is hosted by Shopify and it says it's a Victorian site for me (im in vic) without anything in the url indicating its a Victorian site. Do you guys think it's possibly just a pricing error or is there something possibly malicious going on? It's very similar to the real cellarbrations site but also things like the FAQ are very different.
Thank you,
Dank Magician
If you sort the Premix low to high, there's a lot of pricing errors, then it gets more normal!
The Liquor License is a Metcash pre retail license which shouldn't be able to sell to the public. Unless that changed during COVID.
Powered by shopify… I’d stay very far away
hey is this site a scam? it seems to good to be true. but cant find anything even googled it.
https://www.zeolitepowders.com/
yeah its fake and a scam
Yes it's a scam, these sites take orders then disappear within a few weeks.
They didn't even have any zeolite!
saw their advertisement on FB market. and checked their website. They are selling all power tools at 99usd. I know its almost certain this is scam, but they use paypal. and their reason for prices being so cheap is that they are a new online shop and want to attract visitors.
I am wondering if anyone has every purchased anything from them or how to dig out any info that shows they are (not) legit.
Also, is there still risk if i use paypa to make the payment? we can disbute and request refund, isnt it?
Doesn't look legit. Being a Facebook ad is the first give away. Random store name registered 15th March second. Hotmail contact third. Everything on special too-good price fourth. Stock photos throughout fifth. You don't need more.
think same. and i also found some other websites use the exactly same weird hotmail contact.
Hi Does any one know the shop L & Co mobile in QLD
6/554 S Pine Rd, Everton Park QLD 4053.
These guys are offering brand new Iphone 12 128gb for $950. I am in melbourne. Very tempted to buy it but how to make sure that this is genuine?
I found them here
https://lco-mobile.business.site/
Thanks
kkbk
What's the normal price of an iphone 12 128GB retail now? Subtract $950 from it. If there's a big number left, then don't do it.
I drive past them, never used them for anything but they have a physical store for what it's worth.
And where did you see that advertised, as they don't have an online store…
Scarm alert !!!!!!!!Nov 19, 2021 – Nov 19, 2022
There are scammers on guarantee and Facebook using our shop name to ask for money transfer for goods .
L&co mobile only accept payment on PayPal on postage order and please always
call 0404 770 490 ( sam ) before making any postage order.
Did you call them, or see it on Facebook…?
damn scarmers
Thanks!!!!. I was talking to a person on FB. I did call them up on that number and guy confirmed that Facebook is scam.
Hi
I am looking to buy a portable dishwasher from https://www.homeappliancesplus.com.au/
But from some reviews says that they are SCAM.
The online retailer doesn’t accept PayPal.
Is there a credit card that we can use that has some protection against items not being delivered?
Or should we always buy from online retailer who accepts PayPal?
Thanks.
Every credit card?
Why would you even consider buying from them?
Because the rep has posted on Ozbargain before:
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/homeappliancesplus.com.au
Some of their items are 70% off and maybe worth a gamble.
Not exactly overwhelming positive feedback here.
Which items are 70% off? Most seem to be available elsewhere for similar prices.
Did you actually read the comments in that post? It's like you actively want to get scammed.
Two 5 star reviews, three 4 star reviews and 132 one star reviews.
A bit of a pattern!
Couldn’t see an ABN or an address
They sell jewellery and fridges?
Tasmanian based ABN
Victorian contact details
A bedhead, large sink, 2 X outdoor recliners.
With free "freight" to central Qld… definitely a 5 ⭐ "review"
Anyone had experience buying from either bestmobilephone.com.au or spectronic.com.au
Looking to buy a new phone and don't want to go throwing cash at companies who may scam me
Anyway thanks in advance
Looking to buy a new phone and don't want to go throwing cash at companies who may scam me
So don't buy from stores that no one has heard of, run by sole traders…?
https://stacksocial.com/sales/microsoft-office-professional-…
$49.99 usd for microsoft office pro…. is this legit at all?
Deal post / discussion here should help you.
This is an online website stating its in 25 Bank St, Molong, NSW 2866, Australia. It has very cheap tvs but other gear is more normal prices. Product reviews are definitely fake. Im interested to know if it's legit. I googled it and nothing comes up + cant see a store on google maps at that address. Ive probably answered my own question here.
Im not familiar with Molong but it looks like a neat country town near Orange NSW.
Good luck as you will need it.
