Samsung 300V5A-S05AU 15.6" Series 3 Notebook
I don't quite understand the need for Blu-Ray when the display has poor resolution anyway. Wake me up when laptops with Full HD displays sell for this sort of prices.
"HDMI and VGA ports" you can plug this laptop into a hdtv/projector then you get the full hd!
Yes, you'll get a poor and noisy Blu-Ray player without a remote controller. When proper players sell for about $99, I don't understand why anyone would use a laptop for that purpose.
full hd makes things too small
and i dunno why not have bluray.. at least you can still use the format.
Most people would be buying movies on Blu-Ray now. What if they just want to pop in a disc and watch a movie when they're lying in bed or out and about? Oh that's right, they can't, because Blu-Ray players on laptops are a terrible idea right?
have you tried playing bluray on a 1366*768 screen? i can tell you it looks just as good as on a 1080p 32" tv
Also USB 2.0 ports only. Anyone know why USB 3.0 isn't available in all laptops?
cos its aincient model most probably.. clearing out old stock
Because USB3 isn't native on the Intel chipsets so if manufacturers want to implement USB3 they would have to use third party chips. The reason a lot don't bother is the same reason why 768p is the standard resolution, it's to keep costs down.
USB3 should be standard on all models for the next gen Intel's (except maybe not for the netbooks)
Nvidia GT520MX 1GB Graphics is huge let down compared to other laptops at similar prices with Ati HD6770m. Price too high with those specs. If it was $650 then maybe id think its a good deal.
u can get better for cheaper at dick smiths, and even cheaper again if you go to graysonline and look at refurb/ex lease laptops, no deal here
Where is the coupon or deal?
