  Silicone innersoles deteriorate quickly, they will die well before the shoe's end of life.

    It may be a silly question but worth asking when a professional podiatrist is here:
    
    Are they making any damage to shoes when they deteriorate? (e.g. stick on the shoes?)

      No, it's more silicone that gets material fatigue. A custom orthotic would use poron for longer lasting shock absorbing, energy return or release speed.
      
      It shouldn't be seen as a 6 month + sole replacement.
