    From Dyson:
    Compatible with:
    Dyson uprights
    Dyson cylinders

I presume not compatible with the Dyson V series cordless vacuums, buy please correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Any good?

    • Yeah…we have an older one, and it's way better than I anticipated it would be. Figured the action would be weak, and it would compromise the suction too much, but it works well.

It's the ducks nuts for getting pet hair off sheets, doonas, cushions, chairs etc. The trick is not to push down with the brush head, which will stop the brushes from spinning, but to glide it across the surface and let the tool do the work

      • Wish I had one when my malamute was still around

  • NO stock NSW

    • There is. I’ve done a few random search. Are you doing click and collect or the collection point thing?

      • You're right apologies

        • +2

No need for any apologies! 😀 just want to make sure you get a bargain before it all gets snapped up!

  • Thanks OP, been waiting for this to come back on sale after the last good guys deal!

Not compatible with cordless stick models?

    • From what I understand no.

  • Will this fit in my Dyson V8?

  • I have one of these and it fits the v6 so it should fit the other v-series models I believe

    • +2

      No, it will not fit cordless stick from V7 onwards: V7, V8, V10, V11, V12, V15.
It clearly says in the website >

      Compatible with:
      Dyson uprights
      Dyson cylinders

        Sorry you're right, v6 only

    • Should fit the DC44 also (as same attachments as the V6) however as the suction power is lower not sure if as effective?

      • Just picked mine up today. Didn't realised the brush heads are air powered, thought were motorised.

Got to use on my V6, but have an old DC31 too so tested on that. The brushes spin, but definitely more inclined to stop with a little pressure than the V6.

  • Just bought 2. I happen to have an old DC08 which I haven't used much after getting the DC59 stick vacuum. Will bust it out to vacuum up pet fur and hair, which has been jamming the DC59's motorhead.

    • Just bought 2 as well for the old DC23 and V6's. I hear good things about this head.

I wish they would make this as big as their normal size roller heads.

Agree - when I first did my research I didn’t know it was that tiny. At first I thought it was the “full”size. But I guess they don’t call it “mini” for no reason.

  • Was $4 at GG? - damn

  • Does it work for hair cuts

  • Is there a product that is equivalent to this but can be used with V10?

    • I would like to know this also

    • Unfortunately there isn't any. I checked the website and they have one but it's compatible with V11 and above
      https://www.dyson.com.au/hair-screw-tool-971426-01

    • Seems there is another variant, the 969275-01 which looks like might physically fit the V10 etc, though not sure if works properly with it.
Doesn't seem to be too many around any more, not that cheap @ $44 at HN

  • This attachment works really well. Have a double coated dog who sheds heaps of hair and hair never gets tangled in it.

  • Thanks OP - bought one this morning and picked it up in store.

  • i just ordered one for my dc33. i was not having attachments so luckily i found this for upholstery

  • Awesome and thanks OP, I have missed out on the previous deals and grabbed the last one I saw, still priced at $89. Young lady scanned and confirmed it was $15 and then the cashier saw it and started checking stock levels for herself…

Thanks OP, purchased - hopefully fits my Dyson DC45.

  • Great find & Great service by JBHIFI, bought this morning, opted for 5$ delivery and delivered just hours later!

    • Just curious, how did you get $5 delivery? :( I think when I checked out it was $6.95 (Sydney metro) but I opted to pick it up instead as I live to one very close to me. If it was $5 I would have considered it being delivered but thought it would take forever with auspost these days

      • yea i was surprised, im not sure; total was $20. Also delivered in a few hrs. It had an option for JBHIFI Delivery, where someone from their store heads out to deliver it.

Does your crevice need a good cleaning? The flexi crevice tool is $9

    • Bought one. Definitely worth it for just $9. Been wanting to buy it but didn't want to spend $49 RRP

  • Bought one this morning for C&C.
    Picked up few hours ago.
Gave a whirl with our standard bagless( don't have a Dyson) and plastic adaptor (i.e. piece of PVC pipe that came part of a toolpro car vacuum attachment kit).
Worked really well. Impressed for $15.

  • Shipping not available to Perth metro. 142 km to click and collect in Bunbury :/

  • No stock anywhere in VIC

  • Just received mine today and it works great! Been using it to scrub up pet fur from surfaces. Also, for those who wanted to use this with V7 and newer, there is an aftermarket adapter that you can use. It is $11 off eBay, just search for Dyson V6 adapter.

    • or $9.49, supposedly shipped from Australia.
Slightly cheaper options from China also.
