    Tenda's history of poor IoT security (months of WPA only secuirty on their MW3 Mesh WiFi product) plus Internet connected Camera = Bad idea

        Indeed it was.. but prior to that how long did it take from identification to resolution?
        And for how much of that (extended) period did Tenda completely deny that there was a problem at all?

      @ESEMCE Thx for the heads up. Most people don't take security seriously enough because they don't understand it. The fact that they patched a known vulnerability, does not mean that their systems are now safe. If the manufacturer does not make security a top priority, just walk away, the potential damage is not worth the risk.

    Does this have ONVIF or RTSP ?

    Could then firewall it off and use it locally…
