Yeah I thought it was a great ‘all rounder’ at that price.
Aim for a 3070 at this price.
gotta be careful, a lot of 3070 at this price are actually slower than this 3060
As someone who purchased one of these laptops, I could not recommend more highly against them.
The Alienware Command Center program is required for lighting and fan control is unbelievably poor, and causes serious issues on this laptop. It's been haphazardly thrown together to work with the Ryzen chipset and causes serious issues.
Mate, thankyou for your honest feedback. It does appear Dell and AMD cpu laptops are not getting good reviews lately.
To give some context, the issue I have is that the AWCC randomly stops working, and completely shuts off the fans mid gaming. With a set of headphones on it isn't always obvious and the laptop will randomly crash due to heat.
I've spent hours with Dell trying to troubleshoot this issue, they have no solution. The issues with the Ryzen chips are pretty well documented online.

bit late to post a bargain $200-300 more expensive.
