Up to 10% off Kitchen Packages + $65 Delivery ($0 to Metro) @ Miele

250

Miele kitchen appliances are expensive, but if you are already intending on getting something then maybe this will save you some money.

Miele currently has a kitchen package promotion where you get an increasing discount the more items you package together (3 items = 5%, 4 items = 7.5% and 5 items = 10% saving). The cheapest item I can see at the moment is a dishwasher kit that can be combined into a kitchen package to receive the discount.

If you only want one item, you can then add four dishwasher kits to your order to bring you up to 5 items for your kitchen package to get the maximum 10% discount.

Each dishwasher kit is $79 so you need to spend a minimum of $2,844 for the actual item you want for this to begin resulting in actual savings, see below.

Minimum Example
1 Item Wanted 2,844.00 7,000.00
2 Dishwasher Kit 79.00 79.00
3 Dishwasher Kit 79.00 79.00
4 Dishwasher Kit 79.00 79.00
5 Dishwasher Kit 79.00 79.00
Total 3,160.00 7,316.00
5 Item Discount (10%) -316.00 -731.60
Net Price 2,844.00 6,584.40
Saving ($) 0.00 415.60
Saving (%) 0% 5.9%

Please let me know if you find something cheaper that can be combined up.
I had previously been able to use the $29.95 cookbooks, but that doesn't seem to be working anymore.

OP is trying to screw Miele but little does he knows…

      • so um.. can someone please tell me who is getting the screw?

  • +3

Not for me but a +1 for getting a discount on a company notorious for never discounting

    • Was a better deal when the cookbooks worked, but thanks for the +1

    • Miele often has discounts for buying several appliances together. Outside of this promotion I would ask instore at a reseller like Winnings.

      • Thanks, good to know in the future. I usually get told a firm no discount on Miele

  • Is Miele or gaggenau better

Miele probably has better resale (eg you tend to see "miele appliances throughout" written on real estate listings)

      • Miele have appliances at a few different price points. Quite a difference between their basic ovens and top of the range eg no pyro cleaning, no rails, no stream.

    • Kogan /s

    • Gaggenau cooktops are better.

Nice one. At their HQ out west of Sydney they have a showroom with LOTS of discounted items (some have minor blemishes/scratches, some refurbished, some discontinued/superseded models). Last year I saw an expensive rangehood slashed by half price and the older model top end washing machine reduced by ~30% (both were BNIB).

For whatever reason they are reluctant to have those units available on their website, they should.

  • An entertaining writeup on a guy buying a house worth of Miele (and other house components and furniture for a new build) from the UK and getting it shipped to Australia, saving 48%. I assume we still get charged the "Australia" tax and buying from the UK would be cheaper, but not sure how prices have changed in ten years with the Australian housing booms buying in alot more appliances. Note that this method loses you the warranties on most products, and you need to get new plugs, but with those savings you could buy it all twice over. Not sure on gas fittings matching either, but you should be buying electric anyway.

Im assuming for purely environmental reasons?

    • If I saved 50%. I would just repurchase the product. Also credit card insurance?
