Has anyone else noticed that Amazon has been taking noticeably longer to send items & provide tracking numbers?
It could well have something to do with the lockdowns (totally understandable) however I did not experience in previous lockdowns.
For the first time in a long time, I am considering actually purchasing from my local Woolworths rather then just going through Amazon as things are taking around a week+ rather then 2 or so days.
I've also noticed I have been charged for recent purchases when things have not been posted from Amazon.

Not sure where you live, but I'm in Melbourne and delivery has been fine for me. Have a ordered a couple of things which arrived next day, despite ordering in the evening the night before.
Agree with this. I was going to order this but then thought I’m better off just doing my click and collect order with woolies just to save time and don’t need to force myself to order 2. I’m in Sydney and I think stuff has been taking 4-5 days so far for me - for stuff that use to be 1-2 day mark before the lockdowns etc.
I'm based in sydney, most of my orders are originating in Melbourne at the moment. Could be that the Moorebank centre, in South Western Sydney, has minimal operations at the moment.
The sydney warehouse was down for 2 weeks for deep cleaning after a few workers got covid. Dont think this was reported in main stream media but if you google it , it did happen (i didnt realise it happened until one of my bosses mentioned it to me). Their deliveries are behind. I shop from them and stuff which usually takes a few days now takes a week at least.
Stuff that was sent during the downtime was from the other warehouses they have around the country
Anyone had any issues with jars arriving broken? Just concerned about a box of glass jars as sometimes my amazon packages come packed a little ordinary

If anything, they're overpacked.

Mine have all been fine and as others have mentioned, they've been individually wrapped.
Anything glass is a risk from Amazon, sometimes packaged well, other times just thrown loose in a massive box, there is no consistency at all from all the orders i have received.
I had about $30 worth of damaged/missing goods from a recent Woolworths click & collect - horrible experience. Amazon on the other hand I need a box cutter to remove the protection for it.
I’ve got a couple of dozen brown lid jars from Mayvers over the years, because the labels are really easy to remove without tearing. Using them for spice jars. Really handy.
No subscribe and scavenge option available unfortunately.
I'll support Woolies this time and buy from them during my next shop.

I ordered paper towel last time and it went to post office for collection in different council. I am in Liverpool council and cant go over there. Talked to Au Post but they didn't bring it to my place. What can I do next?
