  Most of the 5 star reviews havent even used it and it seems the whistle is weak and the compass and thermometer are dodgy.

Young ones are more than happy so can't say it's POS. Whistle & Compass have been given 👍. Read the outlined dot points as a whole. No complaints at this $$.

Purchased this for many years… special often for same price or less. Normally buy this to make up the number for free delivery. Ok for peace of mind when hiking and hook it on the backpack. Would not buy it just for this price.
