  • How easy to install? What extra I need to buy for this to work?

    • +1

If you already have a rangehood with a powerpoint, you can DIY. Else if it’s a new install for a kitchen reno, you’ll need a sparky.

  • Not in stock in my area, but also - it does not mention the air draw.

A lot of the cheaper ones have noisy low capacity fans and will also drip oil back onto the hotplate. Our builder installed a cheap Technika package - noisy, doesn't draw enough smells away and occasionally drips fats back on the hotplate (especially in hot weather) If the fan doesn't have enough power the fat sticks to the side of the vent in the roof and then melts in hot weather.

This rangehood is 62db which is considered quiet for a canopy Rangehood

Extraction level is average - 700m3/hr

Looks ugly in my opinion. It's like a design from about 10-15 years ago and even then it was ugly.

I installed this and it looks really nice.

Suction is also greater at 900m3/h

Before you say yeah but it cost $599, I bought it for $250 about 2 months ago. Additionally I got a further discount with gift cards.

  • Can it be installed without the glass as a 60cm or 70cm rangehood?

    • Home Clearance have the 60cm version of this for $150, albeit damaged box. I bought one back in March and the contents were fine

      • Not there anymore. for the 60cm version, can it be installed
        without the glass?

  • U. G. L. Y.

  • Is this a ducted rangehood? If not, spend a little more and have those cooking odours and smoke taken outside your kitchen/house.

  • Cheap enough for the BBQ area.
