  • Free spen case And half price samsung care + too

    • Hi Is there a code for half price Samsung care? I cant seem to see it?

      • In the checkout their should be a -$124

        • Sadly thats not working for me. Will ask chat. Thanks!! Oh wait it works. They reduce the amount from the phone price. Doh!

  • Any dual SIM?

    • ESIM, yes.

      • +1

        One physical sim only?

    • +1

Dual SIM is very dodgy on S21 Ultra. If you receive a call when already on a call 9 times out of 10, phone crashes.

      • Guessing hopefully fixed in software patch

      • +1

You can fix that by turning off Wifi calling. I'm not sure about 'Allowing all sims to use data in calls' option but after turning of Wifi calling, I have never had any issues at all.

I use Optus and Telstra simultaneously.

Data roaming is set to national only

        I have the S21

  • +5

use SPEN code for free case and pen for Ultra

  • +1

anyone trying to get discount voucher?

    • Yes, ask on chat and they will send it in 24/48 hrs via email.

      • +2

I ask for a discount vouxher on chat. They gave me code for a $100 discount

        • +1

how? what did u say to them

          • +1

@freebiemaster1902: Just told them that I want to upgrade my old S10 and I want a discount code.

            • @Natsky: You get the loyalty $100 which can be combined with the $50. But the $100 can only be used on s21 range

        • +1

Ha Ha Ha. Lucky you 👍

    • Seems a few people had some luck however when I spoke with 'Justin' within chat he didn't budge and advised there are no discount vouchers outside of the ones being displayed on the website.

      Maybe I'll try again tonight.

If anyone else has luck in getting one I'll happily accept! :-P

      • Got a $100 discount code tonight. Just said I was wanting to upgrade from s9 to s21 ultra and if there were any discount codes available.

Already had the phone in my cart and they asked for my email address and if I was purchasing straight away. Once I handed over my email address they gave up the code.in the chat.
Result was s21 ultra + charger + Spen case for $1103

        • No go for me, they wanted pics of my damaged phone and concluded it's just not damaged enough

    • +1

I just got the 100$ one and had a 50$ one from years ago. Both can be applied. I would say clear your cache and chat with someone else.

      • Is it tied to an email address?

        • +1

They asked for my email address yes. And gave me the code in chat.

  • Be prepared to wait a very long time if ordering the custom colours, Me and my friend ordered one last month on 27th and there is still no update whatsoever, Just stuck on processing, Have spoken to Samsung on phone and chat but as expected they're useless.

    • +2

@Robotwizrad… I ordered phone on 11/6/2021 Phantom brown and there was no email or message from Samsung and at last i called them in almost first day of fifth week and i got my phone in same week.. so expect around 5 weeks ETA…

    • What colour did you order?

      • Phantom Titanium and my friend ordered Phantom navy or something

        • I ordered on the weekend and was told 5 weeks wait
I couldn't even change the colours after seeing the email. They said soon as I hit order that was final. Would've gone to black or whatever was in stock

          • +1

@phynicle: Yeah takes all the excitement out tbh, Not even that they keep you updated, Next time I would rather just go black or white rather than waiting 5 weeks, Considering they only have 5-6 colours in total they should not be considered custom order imo

        • I purchased the titanium yesterday, it says it'll be shipped on the 12th of August

          • +1

@Lookymooky: Yeah would not trust that date, According to their date I was suppose to receive mine at the start of this week but still nah

            • @RobotWizard: Damn okay, thank you, hope you don't need to wait any longer

              • +1

@Lookymooky: It's hard to wait after ordering new stuff haha but it is what it is I guess

    • I ordered a s21 ultra custom brown colour 512gb storage, ordered on the 26th last month and got it yesterday. Might be dependent on your location to, it said it came from samsung yennora which is about 20 minutes from my house

      • That gives me bit of hope at least, I am in Canberra so maybe next week sometime, Mine is 256GB

        • I should've said before as well that I got no notifications un till the day before it arrived so not sure if they're busy or lazy but I wouldn't stress sure its not far of now

    • +6

Did you read before you bought it states custom colors are built to order and they have always advised before purchasing that it is 6-8 week wait.

      • It's been like this since launch.

    • Yeh same it’s been like almost two months we friend still waiting for it to arrive. What a punish

  • +3

Looks like its only for the Ultra, no $250 discount on other s21 range

    • -3

Advisable to avoid all but the ultra.

      • The ultra is alot bigger tho

        • +1

Yep and thats what put me off. I got an Ultra first off, used it for a few days and just really didn't like how much heavier and seemingly thicker it was than the S21+ when I compared it side by side at the Optus store. Immediately flogged my S21 ultra on eBay and bought the S21+

      • +1

        Why? The S21+ is fantastic

        • +1

No new discount on the plus, so Ultra is only $50 more.

          • +1

@bargaino: Yeah for $50 more it's definitely a no brainer, even if you aren't going to use the extra features it would be worth it just in resale.

            • @Binchicken22: Yeah agree for $50 different its an obvious choice. I was more just referring to the guy above who said 'avoid all but the ultra', like the normally S21 and S21+ are no good

  • Godamn I ordered couple days ago.
    Would Samsung offer any compensation?

    • This happened to me last time - I had to buy again and return the first one :)

      • Oh really. So full refund upon returns, nice!

        • reject delivery

          • @follow: Please elaborate…

            • +2

@phynicle: if you havent received phone yet, when they deliver, reject it. saves you having to send it back yourself.

              • +1

@follow: My last 2 phones were left at the door, bit hard to reject that.

                • @paul04: Doesn’t matter. Initiate a return online via chat, they will send the shipping label and you can deliver it to any post office. But refund can take upto 40 days so be prepared.

  • so whats the lowest price for s21 ultra? is it around $1100?

    • +1

      I got $1094 for the 256gb version

      • +1

not bad but still kinda out of my price range, thanks

  • -8

I don't understand why this is to supposed to be a good deal but I don't want to be the first one to give it a negative comment.

Did you guys check the trade-in value for your old models? I just checked that found that they will give me $170 for my iPhone 8Plus 128G. This is a ridiculous price as I can easily get $350+ if I sell it on eBay. So, if you do trade in your phone then you are actually ripped-off. If you don't trade-in your old phone, then the price will be around $1600. Why is that a good price?

    • +2

      You'll get $170 plus a bonus $450, so a total of $620. :)

    • They dropped the trade in prices, iphone 7 was still $200 trade when this phone came out

    • +6

I don't think you understand the offer.
Whatever your trade in value is, add $450 on top (bonus guaranteed trade in value). So in your case, you will get $620 trade in value, not $170.

    • +1

Will Samsung pay you $475 if you sell your phone on ebay? Interesting…

    • This works better for old phones, I believe s8 is the oldest Samsung will buy back.

Trade in price is $20 or something
      Add the $475, $50 and $250 credits
Don't send the phone back and pay the trade in price ($20)

      Free credits

      • How does one get the $250?

    • The $450 bonus aside, you should consider a bigger issue. The person who buys your phone on ebay is buying it for personal use. Samsung is buying it to either recycle it, or refurbish and resell it. Either way, the service and labour costs them a lot of money and time.

  • +8

For those who are wondering, I "traded in" my phone last time but never sent the phone in. I was charged the amount quoted for the phone ($215) but kept the bonus dollars.

    • Yes I can also confirm this but I do note that there is a new disclaimer quoting discounts needing to be paid back.

      • Does it mean that I have to payback the bonus from now on?

      • +1

but I do note that there is a new disclaimer quoting discounts needing to be paid back.

Where!? Citation needed. People falsely said this before. But as MiCCAS says, you just promise Aurion to repay the $215 (or $35 in my case).
Samsung has no such conditions, and you keep the $450 bonus. They have no legal basis to bill you for anything else after the transaction. Only Aurion does.

"Device Non-Return Fee means a fee which is equal to the amount of the discount You received when your unique Trade ID was applied at the point of sale when You purchased Your New Samsung Device Online"
IMO, this clause is enough for Samsung to charge you the discount provided at the time of sale. Just be mindful as it's not guaranteed that they won't charge it.

          • +2

@huey: That is the trade-in value, not the bonus. This has been argued to death.

            • +1

@bargaino: It does not clearly state only trade in value, I'm just saying be mindful.
Loop holes are generally closed when it's exploited. Enough non returns will no doubt change things.

              • @huey: Yeah can see this being closed at some point with no "notice". Then there will be a heap of butt hurt people whinging about Samsung even though they were doing the dodgy and trying to exploit a loophole.

Do at your own risk I guess, for the moment it seems by all reports.

      • hmmmm i ordered last week.
But didn't send in my phone, unsure of when they changed the T&Cs. Wondering if i should send back the phone when it comes (5 weeks eta) to avoid getting hit with bonus charges

        • +1

Confirmed with Asurion, Non-return fee is the price of old device

    • Do you know if you can use the same phone you used for the trade-in for another transaction? Let's say I bought a phone off someone else who have used that phone for trade-in but decided to not return it and sell it to a 3rd party.

      • They do get the phone IMEI & SIM.

So if you use the same phone on the same return its going to look pretty shady, in the end just comes down to who you are as a person.

Personally i dont get why people wont send back the phone they agreed to in the first place…

      • No, you can't, or at least I couldn't. Only able to use one phone per trade-in transaction.

    • -2

So if they ask, you "sent" it?

      • No, you dropped it and it's no longer in the condition you agreed to return it in.

    • Same. I didn't return my trade in phone and was only charged the trade in amount quoted for the phone.

    • Did you get a late fee?

  • What prepaid is best for esim, as boost dont seem to support esim

Or can I use the boost sim in the Ultra?

  • they don't have 512Gb version in stock. How do I get $250 applied to the order? Thanks

    • They have 512gb in white or custom colours

  • Trade in Bonus will be very poor.

  • Getting 250$ trade in for my note 10 plus

  • -3

Let me know when the s21 ultra is for $600, currently still have to pay over $700 to upgrade

    • They've certainly dropped the base trade in values on most phones. S20 fe 5g, $240…..

    • maybe 2023

  • So all up, how much would the Ultra end up to be?

    • 1059 for 256gb after trade in bonus + 50$ + 100$ voucher

    • $1,218.50 for Samsung S21 256GB with Samsung Care+ after the bonus, and promos, and including a $5 trade in

  • +4

Under $1100. I feel like this is what the actual price point of a flagship phone should be.

    • +1

Price based on what you feel would be nice.

But prices are this way because companies know they're the prices people are willing to pay.

      • +1

I mean … yeah. That why I used the word "feel. Also, prices are this way because of the silicon wafer shortage.
