Comeon get real… you cant sell com.au as a 1 year, so change your title to $18.95. If you can't sell it as one year dont use it to grab a headline.

      Hi Kearnsy,
All .com.au domain extension do need to be registered for two years (you will notice the $18.95/2 years in the description above). We have shown the yearly price in the title as a comparison to our .com domain pricing.

      Cheers

      • Derr, my point is change the title of your thread! You acknowledge in the body it needs to be 2 year registration, so advertise it accordingly on the title and stop trying to grab a headline!

I've changed the title to show $18.95/2 Years "for comparison purpose", as most other registrars in Australia use per-2-years in their pricing page.

    I second that.

  • do you offer a whois privacy service?

edit: never mind, i see it says free whois privacy

    • Down the botom of the page:

      Important Information

      1. Unfortunately all domain name registrations are non-refundable. This includes mis-spelling’s.
      2. All .au domains excluding .id.au require an ABN, ACN or ARBN.
      3. WHOIS Privacy cannot be applied on .au domain names.
      • We do offer WHOIS Privacy (for global TLDs), but this does exclude .au domain names per auDA policy

Not a deal - many cheaper out there.

    • I'd love to know if we can find a cheaper .com.au?

    • for .com,
      10.69/yr + 2.88/yr whois privacy @ namecheap.com
      8.99 1st yr + 9.99/yr + free whois privacy @ 1and1.com

so this offer of 7.95/yr for up to 5 years + free whois privacy is good

  • Do you support ASP.NET?

    • Hi ManUtdFans,
Unfortunately we do not support asp.net on our shared hosting servers as we use linux. You would need a windows VPS to run asp.net, which you do sell.

      Cheers

  • Crazydomains.com.au has been $7/year for .coms for years.

    • but if you want private registration you need to pay $7

Godaddy's having a $2 per .com/.net/.org and $1 per .info sale right now.

    • And a great way to fund their SOPA/PIPA/ACTA support. :-)

      • They actually loose money from $2 domain offers. Not sure about the rate now, but VeriSign definitely charge them a lot more than that ($7+ per domain per year from memory).

So maybe buying from GoDaddy and transfer away after 60 days would be the right way to go? :)

They cut their support after the backlash already. Get over it.
