Bloody snowflake motion sensors!
bananas
Simply put, a 30W LED will consume 30 watts of power an hour. This battery is rated at 4.44Wh, which translates to less than 9 minutes of continuous power on time. This does not even include conversion losses and circuit draw or even the power used by the motion sensor. Plus if you look at the review pictures, the cheap 18650 cell is not high drain capable. No way you can pull over 8A from it to power a 30W light. (30W / 3.7V = over 8 amps required + overhead to drive other components).

Also talked about is that the 30W claim is incandescent equivalent lighting.
30W claim is incandescent equivalent
No worries just calling it as I see it, plain ol' false advertising.
@m9: 600lm is the typical brightness of a 6-7W LED
No shipping to australia heheh
The AU warehouse is out of stock, which is why it can't ship to Australia. The CN warehouse is still stocked and can ship
They sell these on ebay too but also local stock. I bought one about 2 years ago for about $16. Hooked it up in the carport - good for coming home after dark especially during winter. Decent light output, wide beam. I find COB better than individual LEDs. 18650 battery still working. As sensor light, does not drain the battery as much. Another good point is that the solar panel can be mounted in a sunny spot pointed at the sun, which is usually not where the light is. Bought another one for about $15 shipping from Melbourne. Haven't received yet as chose ParcelPoint pickup and that shop has closed for 2 weeks due to Sydney lockdown.
Much better than the solar wall lights that are always on after dark. Bought about 4 of those and they all stopped working after a year. Sun exposure made the solar panels curve up and then rain got it.
Cheapest here compared to Ebay, Kogan, shopping square
Seems like AU warehouse doesn’t have stock, the price has changed to US$27
Back in stock again.
Lol no way. A less than 5Wh battery is unable to supply 30W for 10 hours no matter how hard you squeeze it.
