52cent/100g for Aldi. 66c/100 for Calpino.
I tried both. Capilano is certainly a better tasting honey. Aldi's is ok…but a little watery I recon. Unless u dont mind watery honey. But watery = lower quality (added water).While I have not tried the Aldi honey myself, I recall reading an article explaining why it was actually some of the best in Australia;
http://www.smh.com.au/news/entertainment/good-living/letting…
a more recent news on this particular honey for those who are interested http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/8280965/aldi-honey-label…
Aldi honey is just pure honey, no water added.
that honey you're talking about is for mixed blossom honey. Their equivalent though is still cheaper at $3.29 for 500g. This bargain is for better quality honey and also has the convenience of a squeeze bottle.
I love to squeeze my honey at night. :P
is this the Aldi Pure organic Honey that's made in Australia, or that other cheap crap they stock made in china from small children?
You can get honey from small children?
That's not the mess I clean up regularly…
PFFT aldi. GO capilano. We complain that Aussie manufacturers or brand names are disappearing and here's why we'd rather choose the aldi one?
Support brand names where possible.PLUS I'm sure the Coles brand or Woolworths homebrand would be near or at Aldi's cost. :)
According to the article above, ALDI gets it's honey from Kangaroo Island.
You can't get more Australian than that unless you can find a place called "True Blue Fair Dinkum Billabong".
Really!? Honey is purely from Kangaroo Island actually pretty expensive. And I found an "old news" about ALDI's honey.
"The honey was between 0.84 per cent to 50 per cent Kangaroo Island honey."

I don't know where you've been? But it hasn't been years since honey was this cheap. I bought some last year for about the same price. Actually it was slightly cheaper last year too.

Capilano Honey Upside Down Squeeze 500g, $2.99 (Save $3, 50% off) Posted here+ed from me none the less.
Some people prefer their honey right side up.
They are talking about honey, not bottle :) BTW, up side down squeeze is very convenient for me.
I ordered 2 of those 500gm Capilano Honey Up Side Down at Woolies online last June. They were out of stock so supplied 5 of these 375gm for $5.98! Obviously someone was not a high achiever in Maths.
Honey hasn't been this cheap in years.
What??
Honey prices have been steady for over a decade..I don't know where you've been either.
Also, this is cheap because it basically tastes like melted sugar.enjoy your processed sugar, leave my natural melted sugar alone.
I think im going to bee heading to woolies after work
Lol - Banana and honey on toast. Party in my mouth.
Capilano must have been working those poor bees to the bone of late.
I noticed you haven't submitted a deal yet…. Just wow…
I noticed you've submitted some gaming deals in the past…just 'WoW'…

At least we won't bee getting stung by the price
I won't tell you to BUZZ off, but HIVE read better jokes :)
I'll let it this one go to the KEEPER.
this lady at woolworths bought about 20 bottles, i wonder if she is going to resell it!
Probably to sell on BeeBay. ;-P
Fun fact: Honey is the only food that doesn't expire.
Got myself a bottle today, bee4 i saw this deal.Woolworths at East Doncaster (Vic 3109) had an empty gap on the shelf - they moved them all to the end of the aisle.
Honey (as Josh81 pointed out) keeps more or less indefinitely. But don't refrigerate it, as it forms crystals and becomes useless.
Bought two bottles, which will do me for a very long time. A nice little bargain - thanks to the OP.
For those with sweet tooth sugar craving: last night (18 Feb) Woolworths in 3109 also had Green's brand Maple Flavoured Syrup, 375g squeeze pack at half price, also those shake packs of pancake mix at 50%
Can buy 700g of honey from Aldi for $3.69. Can't be bothered with the math but that's probably a little cheaper than yours.
