Can you slightly dampen the croissants with a few drops of water and then micro to make them more edible like you can with old bread?

They are not dry at all. The best way to enjoy them is 5 minutes in warm oven 160°. Microwave make them rubbery
@Laziofogna: In the past I've taken them frozen out of the freezer, microwave for 15 seconds or so, then 1-2 minutes in a pre-heated air fryer - warm on the inside, crispy on the outside.
As a side note, frozen garlic bread - 30 to 60 seconds in the microwave ( depending on bread type/size ) then 2-3 minutes in air fryer - the inside will be warm and melted and the outside crunchy and crispy..

Are you eating them raw as-is? They're much better in an airfryer for 3-4 mins to crisp up then add cheese or jam. At least the Coles ones are, haven't tried WW.

Both are croissants… I tried Line before, $7 or $8 , the taste and texture not comparable to the price. Not much unique in term of the taste. Just another branding high end product

Coles 'finest' branded mini croissants are pretty good, actually crispy and flaky.
Large is an exaggeration. Moreover these are proper bad. Packed into a bag. Not even worth the $4.50.

No. because people here don't expect them to taste like $6-7 croissants or the better quality more expensive Coles "Finest" croissants. They are cheap for a reason just like the Coles "normal" croissant 12packs.

I fry a couple of streaky bacon, and split the croissants lengthwise.
Croissants go under the broiler/grill for a min or so (keep an eye) as I quick fry the eggs in the bacon grease.
Pull croissants out, lay on plate, cover w/eggs, shredded cheese, & lay slices of bacon on the plates or rip into small bite-size and spread.
Micro 30 secs. Season anytime and anything you like!

I had their chicken for the first time last Christmas, boy I did not know a deli packed roast chicken could be that bloody good. So so juicy, every part was tender, fragrant, so nice I could just eat that on its own for a meal. Would go back just to get the chicken. Would also grab a tray of croissants haha. And a box of their potato salad, add the three together and it makes a mean sandwich!
At half price, they are still two times what they are worth.

I like the actually-large croissants you get from coles in a box, I think it's a 12 pack for ~$10. Put some ham & cheese in the middle and pop in the oven. Tasty.
Last time I tried these these were so tasteless, it was like chewing cardboard.

Only 25% butter. Good if you want a "croissant" if you're on a diet, bad if you want a croissant. Good croissants are 50% butter.

I've also seen a local cafe owner roll into Woolies right as they opened and cleared them out of these. I suspect at $0.45 per croissant, these are cheaper than what they can get wholesale. By the time you pop some ham and cheese on and put it a sandwich grill / oven, you won't know the difference.
For those who are comparing 10 croissants for $4.50 with one warm croissant from a cafe at $6.50, you're a numpty.

I know they are cheap so shouldn't complain…but, how does anyone eat these, they are some of the worst croissants I have ever had.
used to be good, but now?….I avoid supermarket croissants now. Not light and fluffy, more like a sweet bread, can be very dry lately. I guess some store bakeries might be better than others.
